JESSIES POV

"Hey Daddy...." I sung, skipping around, not being able to contain my nerves. What will he think about Santi Stares-At-My-Ass? With a thundering voice and heavy footsteps,Daddy came through the doors of my room.

"Yes,sweatheart?" Though his voice was meant to be sympathetic it came out rough and emotionless.

"Can I hang out with this boy-"

"WHAT?!" His thundering voice became full of anger

"WAIT DADDY! Let me finish. Can I hang out with a FRIEND I met today? He's a boy. Thats all he is though." I spoke with all the confidence I could, even though my voice was trembling. With a cynic look in his eye and a stubborn expression plastered on his face he abruptly gave me an answer.

"Go ahead. But if by any chance he, or you, likes you,or him, there will be MANY consequences. And make sure he's aware of this." And in that moment, he stormed out of the room. I was left there eith pure fear running through my body and my entire body quaking with the thought of my Daddy's voice replaying in my head. When will father return for me and why did he leave me with Daddy?

SANTIAGOS POV

My legs were shaking so badly by the time I got home that I had to have Uriah walk me up to the door. I was so petrified of my own parents and I couldn't tell anyone but Uriah.

"Thanks Uri. And I'm sorry about all this. You know, how my parents are with "heterosexuals" as they call them." I weakly say, trying to get my mind off of the punishment about to come. Heavy and trembling, I raised my hand and rang the doorbell to my living hell. A few seconds later, my mother came to the door.

"Hi honey, hello Uriah." She giddily spoke, a fake smile glued to her stone hard face.

"Hi mom"

"Hello Mrs. Fernandez, how are you?" I could tell

My mom was pleased by Uriahs manners.

"I'm doing fine, thank you for asking." Its disgusting how she acts so amiable around other people.

"Now thank you for bringing Santiago home. However, we are extremely busy at the moment so I'll have to ask you to leave. But youre welcome any other time."

Oh crap. Busy?
