Chapter 1

"Mizar! Jayden! Come see please!" The King of Northern Barian exclaimed as his 10 year old son and 5 year old daughter ran from their rooms bickering about who the King's favorite child is. "Children I love you equally as much as the other. Now I have gifts for you both." Jayden tilted her head while her older brother ran into the other room with their father. "Whoa, This card is cool Dad!" Mizar said as he held the Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon. There was a faint glow on Mizar's shoulder as he proudly held his father's gift....107. "Come see Jayden it's alright." She did as she was told and went to see her father. "I thought I should give you this card, as I know you can bring out its full power." The King explained as he gave her the Number. When Jayden grabbed the card she was put into a trance as if something or someone was reaching out to her then a searing pain went through the left side of her chest and a number appeared....96.

It's been 12 years since she received her Number but only 10 since her father gave her the Barian Key that hangs about her neck. Her brother left Barian and her father was Banished. Mizar told her he would be with her and protect her. Then the red gem on her key glowed a light red sheen and a voice spoke out. "Jayden I care about you and all, but sitting around and sulking in your thoughts won't do much if we are to find your father." The voice sounded sightly annoyed as it said this. "If we have any hope of finding my father we'll need the help of my brother's Galaxy-Eyes." She said bluntly to the Dark-Being within her Key. She yawned as the sun set upon Heartland City. Jayden was living with her human mother and younger sister. "You ready to head home?" The voice asked the tired Princess. She mumbled a quiet "Yeah." and headed home. The key glowed a bit darker than normal, which mean't something dangerous was near Jayden's home. Jayden instinctively jumps into a shadow big enough to conceal her.

"I just felt the presence of a very strong Barian." Said a man in a black cloak with Barian symbols to another man, but in a light grey cloak with the symbols of the Kingdom of Northern Barian. Jayden looked at these men and noticed the one in the black cloak was more muscular than the other. The Dark-Being emerged from her key and was pulled into the shadows by the Princess. "Be careful when coming out of the security of the key Dark Mist if those men are Barians they'll sense your presence." Jayden hissed to Dark Mist gently. He pulled up an eyebrow towards her as if quietly asking 'You think I give a shit?' Jayden peeked out again and saw the men were gone so she and Dark Mist went home and slept after eating a late dinner.
