As I walked into the gym there were a lot of girls an I felt nervous because no way are they going to pick some new girl who just moved here.
"Listen up girls you will be spilt into two groups junior varsity and varsity!" Coach Williams shouted.
"Hi I'm Jennifer Dove if you are trying for junior please come with me." Jennifer was tall girl with dirty blonde hair that was gathered into a high ponytail.
"And I'm kelly Anderson if you are trying for varsity come with me." Kelly was a average height girl she had brown short hair that fell above her shoulders.
Junior varsity were staying in this gym while varsity had to move to a different gym an I noticed that when we were spilt into groups there wasn't a lot of girls left.
"So, first things first coach Williams an I will be picking 13 girls to be on the team I will pick 6 and she will pick 7 since theirs about 24 of you 11 will not make it but there is always next year." Jennifer explained.
"You 12 come with me." coach Williams ordered as she took half of us to across the gym an I stayed with Jennifer.
"Girls, stand on this white line and when I get to you state your first and last name." Jennifer instructed.

"Christina Wayne." I stated an I was the last one in line.
"Today I will be looking at if you could at least do the basic things like bump, set and serve I was team captain last year but now I will be moving on to varsity so I will be picking the the new captain an it could be any of the girls in this gym." she explained.
"Emily, Allison, Ella, Carly, Layla and Christina you six will be team 1 this will be your team while we practice this week and as for team 2 it will be Emma, Joanne, Julie, Sherry, Carmen and Danielle." she stated and as I looked around me it seemed that no one knew each other since no one spoke to anyone.
"Hi I'm Emily I'm on your team." A girl greeted she was about my height with brown wavy shoulder length hair and grey-blue eyes.
"I'm Christina nice to meet you." I greeted back.
"You too." she said smiling.
"How long have you been playing?" I asked.
"Since 7th grade so I haven't been playing for that long, how about you?" She questioned.
"I've been playing since 5th grade." I stated.
"Are you sophomore?" she asked an I shook my head no.
"I'm a freshmen." I stated.
"Me too but I never saw you anywhere last year." she said.
"I recently just moved here with my cousin." I explained.
"Listen up girls team 1 will be playing with coach Williams' team 2 so go to the far right net." Jennifer ordered and Emily an I walked our way to the net when someone stopped in front if us
