Chapter 4: Getting to know you: part 2

-----Ethans pov---------

I rushed her to the hospital, she was still breathing but barley. When we got there I told the nurse what had happened. They took her from me and rushed her to a room.

I waited for about 2 hours and the doctor came out.

He said that she would be fine, but to keep a close eye, just in case she tries to do it again.

"Can I go see her?" I asked him.

"Yeah but she might be asleep. She is in room 102."

I practically ran to her room. When I walked in she was laying there looking lifeless.

Her face was pale, and she had purple lips.

I slowly walked to her. I put my fingers on her face to make sure she wasn't cold. But she was. I found a blanket and covered her up.

A few hours later she woke up.

"Ethan, I'm sorry."

"Hush, love, your okay. It's okay."

She did not say anything. She just gave my a small smile. After staying silent for a few minutes. The doctor walked in.

"Zoe, they found somthing in your neck. They need to do a x-ray, okay?"

"O-okay." She sounded scared.

The doctor and I helped her in a wheelchair, then he rolled her to the x-ray room.

After they did the x-rays. The doctor came back and they said that she had a chip in her neck. It was a location device. The doctor said that if she wanted he could remove it.

But why would she have a location device in her neck?

-----ZOE'S pov-----

When did I get a location device put in my neck.

"Zoe, this a recent wound from the placement." The doctor said.

"I want it out, now."

"Okay, I will be back in a minute or two to tack you to another room for the operation."

"Okay."

The doctor walked out and I looked at Ethan. He look pissed.

"Why did you not tell me that you had a location device in your neck?" He was trying to keep his voice calm so he dint make a scene.

"You think I would let someone put a location device in me? I did not know about it Ethan. I would have told you about it if I did. I thought I was getting to know you a little, but I guess I was wrong. And I thought you new me better."

I said it with a calm voice. So calm it was almost scary. His eyes turn dark and emotionless.

"You don't know me and never will. I'm going home and when you get to come home I will sent Max to come and get you."

"Whatever, I rather have him here than you anyway. And when I get home I'm sleeping on the couch. I don't care what you are going to say."

He didn't say anything, but walked out of the room. I felt my heart sink. I was hurt. I really though we were getting somewhere. But like I said before I was wrong

Zoe you can't fall for him. He is nothing but a monster. He kills people for a living. Just don't fall for him.
I thought to my self. And was right I can't fall for someone like him.

The doctor came in and took me to the operation room. A few minutes later I was passed out and he was taking the chip out of my neck.
