{Mr. Grey White Fierce is up above}
Andreea's POV:
I sit on my bed pondering what I should do.
Do I stay? Do I try to escape? Do I just lie on the old mattress I call a bed? Do I try to make conversation with my sisters? What. Do. I. Do?
Stephanie, the second oldest, is lying on the cold floor reading a new book. Where she got it from I have no idea.
"I will be leaving soon," the beast known as Mr. Grey White Fierce says with a booming voice as he enters the basement.
Stephanie quickly puts the book under her "pillow" (it's just some hay) and sits on her mattress looking a little flushed.
"To where, sir?" I ask in a small voice fiddling with my fingers.
"Out of town. Will you four be fine?"
"Of course we will, Mr. Grey White Fierce. Don't worry about a thing," Stephanie smiles and avoids eye contact.
They say that if you look into his eyes you'll see the thousands of people he's murdered. But then again, I read that in the newspaper he once gave us. I'm not exactly sure why. It might have been because he wanted to fill us with a fear of him. Well it sure did the trick for me.
"Keep an eye on her, Lisa," he growls as he points to Stephanie. I could hear the hunger, the blood wanting, in his voice. He has his moments when he just wants to gobble us up. Taste our blood. But something is holding him back. "Or I'll make your life a living nightmare!" He threatens Lisa and Stephanie.
"It already is a living nightmare," Stephanie mumbles.
"Would you like to tell me what it is you mumbled Stephie dear?" he asks as he maliciously smirks sizing her up.
"It was nothing, sir. I said nothing," she says as she takes a look at her feet, probably to avoid eye contact again. Or perhaps because she doesn't want to argue with him.
"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on all of them," Sara, the second youngest, smiles trying to ease the tension.
"I mean you too, Sara," he lets out some throaty chuckles.
"Do not worry one bit, I'll take care of them," Lisa, the eldest, reassures in a small voice. "I'm the responsible one after all. Everything will be fine, sir. Enjoy your trip."
Mr. Grey White Fierce nods and leaves our room locking the door as he leaves. I hear the door slam from upstairs.
"I got an idea. We should go to the circus!" Stephanie whispers just in case he didn't leave yet.
"Circus? What are you talking about? If he finds out that we left, he'll never leave ever again!" I whisper back.
I'm worried. He hasn't left us alone since the night he kidnapped us. But I don't really remember anything so who knows, he could be my real father for all I know. Then I'd be part beast as well. Or maybe he ate my parents.
He never once took his eyes off us, like we some kind of valuable thing. Don't get me wrong, I think that we're all wonderful people, it's just that some things have been changing.
Stephanie gets hair white as snow so basically she's Snow White in a way. Not really. Maybe she dyes and un-dyes it depending on her mood. Probably. But then where would she get the dye?
Lisa gets these amazing artistic powers. Yeah, again I have no clue. Art's a talent, right? Maybe she has some magical paint or something.
I'm not even sure what Sara gets. She could be a ally of nature for all I know! Whenever she's mad at someone she could just fire up a tornado and boom, they're gone. What if she is nature? Nah, that's not possible.
I just get some weird dreams. But dreaming is normal so I'm not sure what I'm fussing about. I get dreams about different worlds filled with different people who have amazing powers. I also sometimes dream that I'm a witch or something.
I don't think that's normal for four teenagers but then again I've never actually met a teen who I haven't lived or known for my whole life.
"What if we never came back? Then we wouldn't have to ever deal with that Mr. Grey White Fierce again!" Sara says enthusiastically breaking me out of my thought process.
"Great thinking, Sherlock! You forgot one major detail though, he might sniff us out! Then we'll be goners for sure," Lisa hisses lightly slapping her shoulder.
"I personally think it's a great idea! It would be a nice to have a change of scenery," Stephanie cheers. "Basements get old after maybe a decade."
"Of course you do," Lisa rolls her eyes.
"You know what? Let's go to that circus!" I say as I give them a huge smile.
I'm starting to get kind of relieved, it would be nice to leave. To get out of this prison. I mean, we have been locked up for so long, I really miss getting to go outside. I don't even remember how it feels like to be outside. I don't remember how the sun feels. The basement is always so cold and I see at least one rat before I go to bed each might.
We quickly started to pack after a long conversation of trying to convince Lisa. She eventually gave in because she was getting a headache.
I pack my toothbrush, toothpaste, books on adventures and fantasies, clothes, shoes, and a pink necklace I've had for perhaps forever.
We rush to the circus that is a ten minute run away.
I hear a booming voice and a roaring crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to Masked Moss Locust Magic show! For my first act, I will need a volunteer!" he scans the crowd and looks at me. "How about you! Why don't you come over here. Yes you! What are you waiting for!" The magician says. The crowd starts to applaud. I trudge to the stage.
"Please smile and close your eyes." he whispers.
Are you serious right now? I did not sign up for this. I don't want to be some magician's puppet. Wait... will he turn me into a puppet? I'm to young! I want to experience life! I'm not ready to d- wait.
Is that... no... Oh no, oh no! This is bad, this is really really bad.
I see him! I see Mr. Grey White Fierce! He's coming towards us! I have to warn the others. But how?
And why is he here of all places?
