School: a place where the thick are worshiped and the smart are bullied. Something doesn't sound right there, but its true. And I hate it.
Luckily for my little - I say little, there are about thirty of us - group we are somewhere in the middle. Surviving the twats who run the school but still getting A's. I guess thats mostly Olivia, Jenna and Cat's doing, they're the ones who've been together since the first year of school and just collected us as they grew up. They're the leaders, the ones that everyone follows and some how I've managed to become best friend to all three.
Walking to school with Jenna and Olivia wasn't as bad as i thought it was. Olivia was wearing a short, tight skirt that showed off her legs. Some may say they were too beefy, but she's perfect in my eyes. Besides, thats what happened when you did ballet... you got muscley.
Olivia spent the entire way to school dominating the conversation about a funny moment that had happened over the summer holidays. I was there as well and it definatly wasn't this funny or extravagant at the time. But who was I to argue. Maybe Olivia would notice the fact i'd kept quiet for her and appreciate it.
"So then Cal threw himf in the sea, right, and when Dan stood up his shorts had completely come off!"
No... Dan's shorts had slipped down, showing a bit of ass, I thought, she really was exaggerating.
"Oh my god, no way," Jenna laughed. She had such a dorky laugh. Well, Jenna was an all round dork. She didn't try like most girls; she didn't wear make up or put effort into her hair or clothes. I guess thats why she's my best mate, its much easier to get on with a chilled out girl than a high mantience one. Like Olivia.
"Yeah way! And I was like OMG NO! And looked away because I don't wanna see Dan's dick, who would?!"
"Yeh but it wouldn't make much difference would it," I said butting into the conversation, "He's gay so he wouldn't care."
Olivia and Jenna gave me the same scornfull look and then continued with their conversation. I snorted and looked down at my ipod. Dan was a douche, not just because he was gay, but because he acted like a douche. Unfortunatly all the girls thought he was wonderful with his multi coloured head band and pink scarf. Like I said - douche.
The greying yellow building that was school came into sight and Olivia and Jenna's conversation became more rushed, like they had to fit everything they'd been doing since they last saw each other three days ago into this last five minutes.
I just stared at my Ipod, picking some new music out, letting the bass and drum wash over me. A sudden muffled squeal to my left confused me, until I saw him coming towards us.
Mr Williams - the love of Jenna's life.
