I Like Your Voice

Levy's POV

I was walking around in the record label building to meet with Mal, until I heard some music, like an instrumental.

I walked inside the room and saw a tall guy, with long hair and peircings​ sitting down nodding his head to the beat, so I stayed quiet and watched​.

I clapped after the song finished, he jumped up and folded his arms. "Who are you?" he asked, when I was about to answer he started talking again.

"You look like a shrimp" he chuckled sizing me up.

"The names Levy Mcgarden and let me guess you're Gajeel Redfox an artist from this record label" I said walking over to him.

He smirked as he towered over me, "sounds like you done your homework" he chuckled.

"It's my job" I said smartly crossing my arms.

He stared deep into my eyes making me nervous, "well you seemed busy so imma just go, and let you finish" I said backing away from him.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back into his chest, his eyes were low and red. A small smile rested on his face as he gave me this look making me automatically start to sweat.

"Did you need something" I gulped.

His smile got bigger and he took a step back "can you sing?" He asked.

"Uhm excuse me?" I asked with my hands on my hips.

He took a seat on one of the chairs in the room and leaned back "can. You. Sing?" He asked again.

I shrugged "I can do a little something something, nothing too serious" I said.

"Good enough. Show me whatchu got" he said nodding towards the booth. I blushed and shook my head "oh no, I can't" I said.

He straight faced me giving me a bored look "it wasn't a question" he said before playing with the beats.

I sighed and walked into the booth closing the door behind me, Gajeel presses a button before his voice sounded through the speakers in the booth.

"Give me a thumbs up if you like the beat" he said before playing multiple beats. I listened closely to some until one caught my attention, I immediately put my thumb up making him nod.

He pointed towards the headphones that was on the mic, letting me know to put them on. I followed along and put them on, hearing the beat In them.

He pressed the button again and his voice came through the speakers "sing whatever comes to mind or rap whatever you prefer" he said before sitting back.

I thought for a second before throwing my hands up in frustration "what the hell am I supposed to sing about Gajeel" I groaned.

He pressed the button again before his voice came through the speakers. "Think of anything, any past situations or even some current ones, remember whatever comes to mind put it out there" he said before leaning back again.

I nodded and listen to the beat, waiting until I felt it was just right.

He had a concerned smile but didn't speak on it. I walked out the booth and he stood up towering over me again.

"Your voice is beautiful" he complimented me, making me blush.

"Thank you" I smiled before feeling my phone buzz, meaning I had a message. I opened it seeing Mal texted me.

"Shit. I have to go" I said before turning away from him, he grabbed my wrist again making me stop and look back.

"If you ever wanna fake this serious, just call." He said handing me a card. I smiled and nodded before leaving.

Whew that man was so damn fine.

Lucy's POV

"Finally" I cheered as I saw that my new song was uploaded.

I was home alone and I just got done finishing up my new song. I could barely hold my excitement in when I pressed the play button.

"Wow Luce, when were you gonna tell me you finished the song?" Natsu asked walking in.

"It was a surprise" I shrugged.

He smiled as he listened to the song, "this shits hot" he said nodding his head to it.

"I know right! My fans about to blow my shit up" I said.

"As they should" he said putting his phone down. I put my song on all platforms before shutting my laptop off.

Natsu's phone buzzed and I looked down at it to see a pretty girl picture pop up on it. The name said Lizzy.

"You wanna grab some lunch?" Natsu asked grabbing my attention. I looked up at him and smiled "sure, I'm done anyways" I said grabbing my phone.
