Meeting You Again

Walking into Natsu's house, we all made our way into his living room.

Natsu took a seat on the couch and continued texting on his phone, I usually don't pay any mind to it, but now I'm curious.

"Natsu, is Mal here?" I asked looking around, he shook his head "nah she stepped out for awhile, why?" He asked looking up at me.

I shook my head "oh nothing, just haven't seen her in awhile, that's all" I said giving him a small smile.

"Wait Mal lives with you now?" Gray asked sitting up from his seat. Natsu looked at him and nodded "yeah after she became my manager, she decided it'd be easier for us to live together. I really didn't mind since shes my sister" Natsu shrugged.

"Oh it just been awhile since I last seen her" Gray said, Natsu smirked "yeah how long has it been...two years.....maybe three since you last seen her?" Natsu asked.

Gray shrugged "maybe three, haven't seen her since we all graduated from college" he said.

"You miss her don't you Gray?" Natsu smirked again.

"Her? Miss who? Who were you guys talking about?" Juvia asked coming out the kitchen.

"Natsu's sister/manager, Mal" I said.

"Oh? And why would MY boyfriend miss her?" Juvia asked giving Gray this look making him gulp.

"Babe she's just an old friend I used to know, you have absolutely nothing to worry about, and don't you have somewhere to be" he said pecking her lips.

She smiled and nodded "yeah, I'll see you next week. I love you and don't forget to call me, even if you're busy just text me" she said before grabbing her things and waving goodbye to me and Natsu.

After she left me and Natsu mocked Gray as he ignored us. A few minutes passed and Mal walked in dropping her keys on the coffee table.

"Guys tell me why I just met Juvia, she's way prettier in person and she's a sweetheart, what was she doing here?" Mal rambled.

"She was with me, she's my girlfriend" Gray said standing up with a smile plastered on his face. Mal's eyes shot over to him and her mouth dropped.

"GRAY!!!" She yelled tackling him to the ground, hugging him as tight as she could.

They both got back up and she looked him up and down before looking back into his eyes "you have no idea how much I missed you, where have you been?" Mal asked.

"Just in New York with Juvia" he smiled dusting off his backside.

"Um, I don't mean to be rude but how do you two know each other exactly?" I asked.

Mal smile got bigger and she ran over to me and grabbed my arm "well it all started...." she said.

Flashback

Mal POV

It was my second day in college, I was a freshman.

I was running down the halls from these mean girls, I looked back to see if they were still there, and I saw the tired girls still coming towards me.

I rolled my eyes and turned my head to a chest, I fell back on my butt and my books were on the floor. I shook my head from dizziness and looked up.

"Watch out weirdo" this raven hair boy said.

I rolled my eyes and stood up to dust off my jeans "I don't have time for this" I said looking back and grabbing my books off the floor.

I tried walking away but the raven haired boy grabbed my arm making me stop in my tracks.

I looked down at my arm then back at him with a mug on my face "um excuse me, could you, I don't know, get off of me" I snapped. "Why you in such a rush?" he asked.

I glanced behind him "nun of your business" I said yanking my arm away. I attempted to walk away again but he grabbed my arm....... again.

"Look you need to move" I said harshly.

"What's your name" he said pulling my arm towards him, our face was close, I felt his warm breath on my face, and my cheeks turned red.

"Mal, Mal Dragneel" I whispered.

He smirked releasing my arm and took a step back "as in your Natsu dragneel's sister?" he asked.

"Yeah, so what" I said in a harsh tone.

"Hey, YOU!!" The girls yelled outta breath finally catching up with me.

I rolled my eyes and tried to run but the raven haired boy grabbed my hand "the names Gray, Gray fulbuster" he said.

"Whew. Thanks for catching her for us Gray, now watch out" the mean girl said.

"No, you guys been bullying me for a good two days now, I'm not about to sit here and allow you to push me around" I snapped.

The girls backed up and walked away without a peep, I turned back to Gray and he pulled me closer, "you wanna be my friend?" he smirked.

A small smile spread across my lips as I nodded.

"Yeah...... that'll be great".

Flashback over

"After that day me and Gray got closer and became besties" Mal said.

"And they secretly had a relationship that they won't admit to" Natsu butted in while texting along on his phone.

"Shut up stupid" Mal spat.

"I'm bored" Natsu huffed ignoring his sister as he turned his phone off. I rolled my eyes "finally" I muttered.

Natsu gave me a weird look "what was that?" He asked.

"I said beach, let's go to the beach" I said. Everyone nodded and went to get ready.
