Are the liquid crystal balls on my desk okay?
Did they speak of the future that would hold my sorrow like this cold plastic IKEA chair?
My eyes waterlogged, my tongue parched, my gray matter filled with his bare touch.
Did they warn me of his medusa like features? His silky smooth hair that would hypnotize my arms, legs, my entire body but not my eyes?
My legs always quiver at the thought of him.
I guess that meant i'd always be shaky. That i'd never be able to stand properly, that my bones weren't weak enough to let me fall but not strong enough to prompt me up.
This was death's hymn yet no piano played through his veins, no guitar strummed his bones, no drums beat his heart.
It was only the faint sound of my crystal balls as they rolled down my wet cheek and dripped off my chin to the brown wooden table.
It was ironic how a human could feel more agony than the human who suffered.
Even though he hadn't went down or up, I continued to grab more and more Kleenex to wipe my runny crimson nose.
