The next morning the whole team gathered at Emily and Hotch's house in search of the notes. Garcia and JJ took the upstairs bedroom while the men took main floor. The 2 women were sitting down going through boxes when JJ spoke up. "This is useless. We need to think like Emily." She says dropping things back in the box. They both think for a few minutes before Garcia thinks of something. "Her dresser drawers!" They both hop up and yank open the top drawer. They shuffled things around before coming to to yellow envelope containing 2 little envelopes labeled 'Emily' and 'Aaron'. They take them and run downstairs telling the guys. JJ decides to open and read Emily's first.
"Dear my loving team,
If you have found this, I am no longer with you. I want to tell you all how much you mean to me. You were all the first family I ever had. You made my life worth living. Everyday I got up for you guys. I will watch over you everyday while you are in the field. JJ, I wish you and Will the best of happiness. I hope Henry grows up to be wonderful. Penelope, You and Kevin are perfect for each other. I hope you get married one day. Dave, You are a great person. Keep being amazing and I hope you hit big with another book. Garcia you are the sweetest person in the world. I wish you the best if luck. JJ, you helped me through the worst. You are great. Good luck with everything. Morgan, you were a great friend. Take care. All of you. Sincerely, Aaron Hotchner." They set the letters on the table not knowing what to say. JJ takes a deep breath before speaking. "We should all go. Our team is on stand down. We should go sleep and spend time with our familes." They all nod in agreement. One by one they walk out of the house to go home. They were going to miss their friends but now they can go to sleep with peace. Their friends had a happy life for the most part, and they were content with that.
