Shortly after your fun time at the festival, school started and you became a third year. Since you and Jimin came from different schools, you guys didn't get to meet as often as you did in the summer.

Class was dismissed so you quickly packed your bag, planning to go to the library later to study since you've heard that the teacher gave pretty hard questions for tests. As you say goodbye to your teacher and walk out the door, you were surprised by a familiar face.

"Hey!" their voice was music to your ears.
"Jimin!" You almost screamed.

He pulled you aside to avoid blocking the door and gave you a warm hug.

"Why are you here?" you looked at him, still in his embrace.
"Our school has some sort of event for 1st years so I was able to leave early." he smiled.

"Y/n!"
You turned around and saw one of your friends, Jen.
"Oh, you must be Jimin! I've heard from y/n." Jen waves at Jimin.

"Oh-" you suddenly remembered something.
"I'll introduce you to my friends." you started walking, pulling Jimin along.

You, Jimin and your friends sat outside of the building on a bench under a tree that provided some shade.
"this is Jimin. Jimin, this is Jen, Hana, and Yoonji." You said happily.

The five of you gather around and talk for a while to get to know each other. Yoonji in particular seemed to be less interested in Jimin than the other girls. But, you thought maybe she just had a bad day.

After being with your friends for a while more, you decided to part ways and see Jimin off at the bus stop.

By the time you got home, the sun was starting to set. Jimin had messaged you on Line so you opened the app to see what it was.

You were left on a confused note but decided to not worry about it.

Through the rest of the day, you don't think much about it. But just as you were about to fall asleep, the chat comes to your mind again.

What Jimin asks about bothers you for the next few days, so you decided to talk about it with your girls. They were trustworthy people you could anyways rely on.

The next day, you tried finding Yoonji during break. She was walking pass your locker when you saw her.

"Yoonji!"
She turned around and smiled. "What's up?"
"I wanted to talk to you. Mind if we go somewhere?"
"Sure."

The two of you walked to a more quiet place in the school and faced each other.
"What did you want to talk to me about?"
"It's regarding Jimin." You said straightforwardly.
At the mention of his name, Yoonji's mood seemed to darken ever so slightly.
"What about him?" She asked calmly.
"Were you two but any chance..."

Before you were able to finish your sentence, Yoonji gives her response immediately, as if she was expecting you to ask sooner or later.

"Yes, we used to date each other. "

"I see..." You nodded your head as you understood a tiny bit more of the chat between you and Jimin the other day.

"Since you asked, I'll tell you beforehand that you should break up with him as soon as possible. Of course, this would be the best for you.

At first, you were planning to just go after getting her answer, but thought it would be interesting to hear her out.

"What do you mean?" You asked.

"He's... Not your average guy. I don't want you to misinterpret what I'm saying, so I'll be blunt. He's...Abusive."

You were in disbelief. "Yoonji, I don't think that's his personality..."

"You may not believe me now, but I was the one who dated him."

"But, I mean that was all in the past."

"Once abusive, always abusive."

Yoonji walks away after, leaving you in thought. Jimin never once showed any 'abusive' signs towards you. But even so, why did Yoonji act that way?

Back at home, you told Jimin about what you found out, excluding what Yoonji said about him being 'abusive', of course.

You started to become really curious as to what happened. Both of them were saying different things about the past.

You thought that messaging Namjoon would be better since he knew Jimin before you met him.

You attempted to keep this curiosity of yours at the back of your mind as long as you could, as it seemed that no one wanted to talk about it.
