You and your friends had planned a party at your house for a Christmas party. Your parents weren't going to be home for the night as they had their own parties to go to with their friends.

On the day of the party, a few of your friends and Jimin's friends had come over to help set up.

They came over in the morning and it was noon now, but barely anything was done because they kept getting distracted.

You looked at the living room from afar. Decorations weren't even done yet and none of the cutlery was laid out. The floor was covered with plastic packaging that came from the decorations, and the Christmas tree was still in the box by the side of the sofa.

Jimin had noticed the exhausted look on your face. He clapped his hands together to get everyone's attention.

"How about we get some lunch and then start setting up for real? We want to have a party afterall right?"

Everyone nods in agreement as they head towards the front door to put on their coats to go out. Jimin turns towards you and gives you a pat on the head.

"Don't worry, everything will be alright."

You shrugged and followed after everyone as they opened the door, feeling the cold breeze of winter.

The eight of you went to a nearby Chinese restaurant. After settling in to your seats and ordering the food, you decided to plan things out to be more productive.

"We have to get things done by 6pm, latest. Which means we only have 4 and a half hours when we get back to the house, assuming we eat for 30 minutes." You said as soon as the waiter left.

"Wait, how are we going to finish our lunch in 30 minutes?" Jin spoke up.

"It's either we have less time to eat or less time to set up ok?" You replied.

"and if anything we can just ask for take-out boxes." Kathy says.

You see a waiter heading your way with two plates of food.

"We are not wasting any more time" you said before digging in.

Instead, it took you guys 45 minutes to finish the food because no one wanted to have any take-out. When you reached your place and opened the front door, you felt like you were a teacher rushing 4 year olds into the class after recess.

All of you gathered into the middle of the living room and put your hands in the middle.

"Alright, let's set this party up!" you said as everyone raised their hands up and cheered each other on.

6:00PM

People started to pile in, filling the space up. You had received many compliments for the decorations, as well as a couple comments on how big your place was.

"See? It didn't turn out as bad as you thought." Jimin says as the two of you hang out in the kitchen.

"If we ate for an extra 5 more minutes, we wouldn't have been able to finish on time." you gave him a look.

He giggled and shrugged. Jimin walked around the island to stand next to you as you rested your head on his shoulder. Everything was alright now since it seemed everyone was having a good time.

You were in an extremely happy mood since the holidays went well. It was a new year, and you were prepared to get back on the grind with school work.

It was a Monday morning and you head to your locker being class. You had left all your textbooks at school since you didn't want to be reminded of work during the break.

As you opened your locker, you were greeted with a soggy smell. All of your things were drenched in water.

You pick one of your notebooks up and the smell became stronger. Is this... toilet water?

Jen passes by the hallway and notices you.

"Hey y/n! How was your bre- Oh my gosh."

You looked at her and gave her a wave.

"Uh, it was great. But, not anymore.."

"What happened?" She asks you.

"I'm not sure myself... I just opened my locked and this was what I saw."

"Shouldn't you report this?"

"Ah.. that's too much of a hassle. And you know the teachers don't really do much for these types of situations." You started to close your locker.

"I'll just dry them out later. For now, can I borrow your business textbook? I'll return it to you after class."

Jen gives you the textbook without hesitation, but you can see on her face that she's worried.

You gave her a reassuring smile and thanked her as you hurried to class.
