Mary walked along the paved path, sighing as she went to highschool. She wasn't looking forward to this day, the exams. As she reached the school building, the school bully tried to stop her, but Mary just simply shoved the bully back before saying "Don't try, at all actually." His peers laughed and the bully said "Or what, lady?" Mary socked him in the face, effectively knocking him out. There was a large "Oooh!" in the front of the school. Mary said to the peers "Your gonna become like him, if you be him." The peers shivered at the thought of getting beat up. At math class, she sighed. The teacher was calling names, and she called her name. "Mary Answorth!"
Mary raised her hand.
The teacher gave her an exam.

By the time she finished the exam, almost everyone was busy writing. Mary Answorth called to the teacher, "I'm done!' The teacher took her exam
and said "This'll be graded tomorrow, the last day of school until Summer." Mary's face lit up at the thought, and she said "Thank you, teacher." The teacher smiled, walking back to her desk. By the time the conversation was finished, half of the students in the room were saying "I'm done!" in a cheery or bored manner, then the bell rang, loud and clear. Up next was the classes that don't need to matter.
[After some time...]
Mary walked out of geography and walked to a vending machine. Grabbing a soda with $1 and a large candy bar for $1.50, she still had a bit of allowance left. Mary thought *Maybe I should practice flying today*
Little did she know, there was a person, or thing, reading her mind.
