"I've heard weird stories about exchange students Fen" Hannah remarked shakily. She was drenched, all her clothes looked like they had been in the washing machine and didn't get hung out to dry.
Fen walked off. Thoughts were zooming around her head: Should I or shouldn't I? Are the stories that Hannah heard true? And is the exchange student going to be nice? She wished .
Everyone followed her down the stairs and into the year 7 cloak room. Everyone was slipping around instead of walking. She sat down on a bench she was then followed by the others. Rohini wasnt talking because she had her nose stuck in a book- maths one to be precise. That was a subject hated by all, except Rohini of course.
"Fen are you ok?" Evie asked. Everyone turned in astonishment at her, all wide eyed and glaring.
"What?" she said in a confused tone.
"You shut up about him!" Rhiannan Shouted, she slipped in and out of the beams strewn across the room in happiness.
Everyone laughed, Evie was still confused but she shrugged her shoulder and turned back to Fen.
"I'm just annoyed, I thought you would be happy that I'm being adventourous."
"We are" Came a voice from next to her. Rohini raised her head and closed the book, she had obviously finished it.
Fen was getting second thoughts about all of this.
"You should go ahead with it" Rachael butted in. "My mum said that having an exchange student would be an interesting and educational experience. You can learn alot from it."
Fen had decided to still go through with it. Everyone does well when friends are around them. She has that. So, it will be fine. Hopefully
