That day went by very slowly. So did the next 2 weeks.

It was the day of the exchange students arrival. Fen took it as a normal day- she had a smille on her face. However, inside she was worrying about what this girl will be like. Evie had stopped talking about her crush and was giving advice to Fen on the bus. This really helped... NOT!

"If she does anything tell me and I will sort her out!" Evie retorted, trying to sound helpful and failing miserably.

Fen Looked out the window the sun was shining and you could see the grass shimmer from the current rain. This could be a good sign?

"How are you going to sort her out exactly?" said Fen sounding smug.

"Hmmmmm Errrr" Evie mumbled more but Fen couldnt hear.

"You don't know, do you?"

Evie turned away and swung her head back. She stared out the window and didnt say anything. She looked like a rock, thinking very hard just for one simple question.

"Do you happen to know now?"

"You will have to wait, I will think.... at some point."

"You say that to yourself Evie"

They got to the entrance and saw the others in a sort of circle in the designated corner, that the group took up daily. They were whispering about something. Rachael turned round, her bushy hair got in Rhiannans face. Rhiannan backed off and went to say hi to Fen. "Today is the day" she said, with a hint of sorrow in her voice.

"Yep" Fen replied as she continued to force a smile.

This day went by surprisingly fast. Too fast for Fen. She was now on the bus- just 1 hour till she picked the student up from the airport. She got off at her bus stop that was right outside her house which was very helpful. Fens house was an old house with big panelled windows and a chipped red door. She stepped through the door and went straight up the stairs to get changed. Her room was big and blue, just the way she liked it. The room was a tip- all the shelves were filled with souvenirs from her travels and also filled with books. Next to her bed was a blow up camping bed, obviously for the exchange student. Fen had a wardrobe with lots of clothes in it,  most of the time she had very hard time on what to wear, but usually it ended with her wearing just normal plain jeans and a t-shirt. She went downstairs saw her mum tidying up, Fens mum had the same coloured hair as fen, but it was alot shorter. Fen stood there for 5 minutes before her mum noticed she was actually there."Hey how was your day at school?"

"It went by very fast. Lessons were sooooo boring though"

Then Fens dad stepped into the room. He was very tall and had grey hair. He constantly says he dyes it that colour as a joke. But, he was all dressed smart, probably was at a meeting all day. Fens dad worked for a company that sell and make computers. So he goes to alot of meetings and is barely home. He went upstairs to get changed and came down in his normal clothes.

"You ready to go then Fen?"

"Yeah sure" The smile went off Fens face. This was it. But then she thought about Evie and her help but that didnt help. There was nothing she could do but wait and see.

They stepped outside of the house and got into the car. Fen loved her dads car because it was so smart looking. She looked out the window and watched the houses and shops whizz by. Then the car slowed down: they were at the airport.

The plane had already arrived and there was a lot of tired kids walking around. There was a woman with a big backpack and she pointed us to who we were going to keep care of.

There stood a girl, all alone. Her face stricken with a deadly stare. You could instantly tell that she wasn't very good at making friends, just by looking at her. She had very pale skin, as pale as a sheet and she was wearing purple lacey old fashioned dress. She had her  hair in ponytails and ringlets lined her face. She looked like a evil china faced baby doll.  She was initially staring at the kids, then as Fen moved nearer her head turned round slowly and the stare was now on her.

"This is Camille" gestured the woman, who stepped a few feet back.
