My phone rings. i looked at the screen and mom's face pops up

Nique: Hey mom what's going on?

Mom: Nothing just chilling in the living room. You still at Bre's?

Nique: I was. Everythings cool now. I'm at Trina's right now

Mom: Ok. Well i talked to your dad about Trina

I sat there frozen looking dead at the wall speechless

Nique: How did he take it?

Mom: That's the problem. I don't know how he's responding to it. Can you come home and talk to him?

Nique: Sure i'm on my way

We finally reached my house. I unlocked the door and we went inside. My mom was waiting by the door

I go into the white room and see my pop's sitting on the sofa. I slowly walk in and sit next to him. His left leg is bouncing up and down as he looks down at the floor

Nique: Dad...I can explain...

Pops: No need to explain Nique. I'm not mad at you or Trina. Your mom gave me a earful already. I accept your relationship with Trina. Is she here?

Nique: Yes. I'll go get her

I leave the room and go to the kitchen to see mom and Trina talking and laughing

Nique: I hate to interrupt but my dad wants to see you Trina

Me and Trina walk back in the room and sit down on the couch

Pops: Do you love my daughter Trina?

Trina: Yes sir

Pops: Are you sure?

Trina: Yes

Pops: I just wanna make sure. The last person that said yes broke her heart

Trina: What happened?

Pops: Let's just say he never saw daylight again

Nique: Ok pops that's enough. Can we go now?

Pops: Yes. I'm watching yall

We finally leave out the room and head for the door and go outside

Trina: Your dad scares me

Nique: He maybe a little intimidating but he's not scary

Trina: Yeah if you say so

Out of nowhere We bust out laughing

Trina: I'm gonna head home

Nique: Ok. Text me

Trina: Will do

She gives me a hug then leans in for a kiss. We had a little make-out session until pops opened the door. We quickly stopped and looked at him

Pops: Ok you two that's enough

Trina: Night Z

Nique: Night T

I go inside and head up to my room and got ready for bed. I'm just glad things are back to the way they were. I changed into my pj's and got in bed and let sleep take over

Bahja POV

It's Sunday afternoon and i'm at home with Lo in my room watching tv. Lo isn't my little sister but she's my best friend

Lo: So how you and Bre doing?

Bahja: We're doing fine but she's been acting strange lately

Lo: What do you mean? What's going on with her?

Bahja: She's been getting strange phone calls and texts from an unknown number

Lo: You know who it is?

Bahja: No i don't

Lo: Yo that's messed up. I hope she's ok

Bre POV

I'm sitting in my room on my laptop scrolling through twitter when my phone dings. I got another text from this same unknown number for the past couple days now. This is getting creepy

???: Hello Bre

Bre💜: Who is this and why you texting my phone?

???: Don't worry about that. You'll find Out soon enough. Btw nice house

I sat there frozen for a good 5 seconds. How does this person know where I live? Before i can reply there's a knock at my door. I go to the door and open it. Jayden comes in and gives me hug

Jayden: Hey Bre

Bre: Hey Jay

I close the door while looking down at the floor

Jayden: What's wrong Bre?

Bre: I'm scared Jay. Somebody's been texting me from an unknown number for the past couple of days and it's starting to scare me

I look at his face and he looks nervous. He was looking everywhere else but me

Bre: Jay are you ok? You look nervous

Jayden: I-I-I...uh...I gotta go

Bre: Why? You just got here

Jayden: It's my mo She's in the hospital. She hasn't been feeling well. I'll just text you later

Before I can say anything else he dashed out the door. Before I could close the door Bahja, Nique, and Trina come barging in

Bre: Well hello to yall too

All: Hey Bre

I close the door and turn around to see everyone staring at me

Bre: What?

Trina: You spoke to Jayden recently?

Bre: Yes he was just here

Bahja: You know where he is?

Bre: He said he had to go to the hospital to see his mom

Nique: Bre... Jayden was lying to you

Bre: What are yall talking about?

Trina: Jayden is the person whose been sending those texts to you

Bahja: He's also been following you

I was in shock. I knew Jayden since I was five years old. To hear what i just heard is really making me think twice about him

Bre: How did yall find this out?

Nique: His brother Treyvon called me. After i got off the phone with him i called Bahja and Trina and we came to tell you

Trina: So what are we gonna do?

Bahja: I say we jack him up

Trina: I say we rob him

Nique: I say we kill him

Bahja: I say we do all three

Bre: Before we do anything we're gonna regret later i have a idea

Nique: And what's that?

Bre: Just wait here

I go upstairs and grab my phone and keys and come back downstairs

Bre: Let's go

Trina: Where we going?

We all pile in my car and head for Jayden's apartment. With the information i have i can get to the bottom of this mess. I got something for his ass
