It had been a week since the battle between Fairy Tail and Phantom Lord. The magic council had subjected Fairy Tail to daily interrogations, but in the end all hands pointed to Phantom Lord starting the fight, although there would be a hearing regarding Fairy Tail's actions at a later date. Thankfully Fairy Tail had already started to re-build the guild. More good news was that Team Shadow Gear was well enough to walk around, but they still needed time before they fully healed. around that time, Roxas had told Natsu and Misty what he found out from Gajeel, which surprised the duo greatly.
"I can't believe that stupid council questioned us for a whole week..." Roxas grumbled as he sat on the couch in the apartment he shared with Lucy, who was sitting at her desk writing another letter to her mother with a small heat Lacrima against her stomach to help with a bruise on it. She had been contemplating why her father suddenly wanted her back home. 'Can't imagine why he suddenly wants me back, not like he cared before.' She was brought out of her depressing thoughts as she lifted her shirt up a little and rubbed her side. "Man...this ugly bruise hurts so bad..."
"I've got something for that. Gimme a minute." Roxas said as he said as he dug into his bag and pulled out a small jar and brought it over to Lucy.
"What's this?" she asked, looking at the small jar.
"Balm. It should help with that bruise." Lucy was a bit hesitant, but Roxas has never steered her wrong before, so she took the jar and opened it, before taking a bit of the substance and rubbed it on her side. It was smooth, and seconds later the pain in her side was gone. She pulled up her shirt and to her surprise, the bruise was gone, as if there was never one to begin with.
"That's incredible!" she said, jumping out of the chair to wrap her arms around Roxas' neck. "Thanks!" A bright red flushed into his cheeks. He still wasn't exactly sure what the relationship was between them, if there was one. Lucy released Roxas and sat down, returning to her letter. Roxas leaned over her nosily and watched, but refrained from reading the letter.
"So who are you writing to?" he asked.
"My mom. I write to her often, so she doesn't miss me too much. But still...I do miss her a lot."
"Yeah, I can respect that..." Roxas said, before heading to the door. "Well, I should get back and help with the guild reconstruction, so I'll be back later."
"Actually, Roxas?" Lucy said, stopping the fox slayer.
"Yeah, what is it?"
"I want you to...to...um...to..." Lucy had a hard time getting to words out. She turned to look out the window and saw a mama bird feeding her baby. Taking a deep breath, she turned to Roxas with a determined look. "There's something I have to do. Something important, can you help me?" She asked.
Roxas just grinned. "You don't even need to ask, Lu. When do we leave?"

Meanwhile most of Fairy Tail was at the broken guild as they had begun to repair the building. Ariel had just gotten to where Team Chaotic minus Roxas and Lucy were.
"Hey guys! So how are we going to do this?" the water dragon slayer asked.
"The plan is to rebuild the guild from scratch." Erza walking up to the group.
"God damn this is heavy." Natsu said in a strained voice, carrying over a dozen large wood planks on his back.
"Why are you carrying so many?" Ariel asked.
