It had been a few hours since Sting and his crew boarded Fairy Tail, but while Erza and Gray worked to save Natsu's life he had gotten away to his ship. The crew members were furious at their captain's state but they decided together that they wouldn't do anything to the enemy pirates until Natsu had woken up. And so, the next morning, Natsu woke up. He groaned and looked around to see that he was in his room, he leaned back again and sighed.
"Natsu?" Natsu opened his eyes again and looked to the doorway to see Lucy standing there, he smiled and sat up slightly,
"Hey, Luce. What's up?" Lucy laughed and she walked up to the side of the bed,
"What's up? You need more rest, you were hurt pretty badly." Natsu tried sitting up more but gasped when he felt a horrible pain in his stomach, he put a hand to his bandaged torso and looked at Lucy in confusion,
"What happened?" Lucy sighed and sat back on her heels,
"Well, after we talked and went to bed, Sabertooth came out of nowhere and kidnapped me. They brought me back to their ship and planned to take me away from Fairy Tail too...But while I was on the ship, apparently Sting had gone on board and attacked you and the rest of the crew. They all ganged up on you and you were pretty severely injured and they ended up throwing you overboard. Luckily Erza was as crazy as she normally is and jumped into the water after you, Levy also came and helped me get away from Sabertooth's ship and back here." Natsu growled and closed his eyes again,
"That idiot. What was he thinking?!" Lucy looked up at him with a soft smile,
"It's fine. We're all ok now, he was able to get away which everyone was pretty mad about, but nobody was killed." Natsu nodded his head and put a hand to his forehead,
"Yeah, I always let them go." Lucy frowned,
"What? Why?" Natsu laughed and leaned against the wall behind him for support,
"Me and Sting have a long history together, we used to be good friends and because of that, we show mercy. Never killing each others crew...but something must have changed, we never go this far. To throw me off the ship..." Natsu shook his head and sighed again,
"So...what do you two do?" Lucy crossed her arms, awaiting Natsu's answer. He looked up at her and put a hand to his face,
"Exactly what happened. But we wouldn't hurt each other, we would mess around then they would leave. But only Sting and I knew about it, none of the members of our crew did." Lucy frowned,
"Why not?" Natsu chuckled slightly and relaxed into the bed,
"Well, it was just because the two of us wanted to have a little fun. We wanted to have an adventure where I was the good guy and Sting was trying to take my crew and treasure." Lucy grabbed her arm and tried warming herself up,
"What could have happened? He nearly killed you..." Natsu put a hand to his torso and hissed in pain. Lucy looked up at him and gasped slightly when she saw that blood was seeping through the bandages. She ran out of the room and to where Wendy was sleeping, she slammed the door open and took a deep breath as Wendy looked at her in confusion,
"Lucy? What's wrong?" Lucy took a deep breath and looked at Wendy in panic,
"Natsu...he's bleeding really bad again." Wendy jumped up off of the bed she was in and they both ran to Natsu's room, he was groaning in pain and both of his hands were covering his bloodied stomach. Wendy frowned and placed her hands on top of Natsu's, trying to calm him down,
"Natsu, I need to see your wound..." Natsu gasped as he stiffly raised his hands. More of the blood started pumping out,
"Crap. Natsu was putting pressure on the wound so he wouldn't bleed out." Wendy turned to Natsu and placed his hands back where they were,
"Hold on a little bit longer, I need to grab some things." Natsu nodded his head and pushed his hands back on the wound. Lucy went to his side and put her hand on his arm,
"You're going to be ok Natsu, I promise." Natsu shut his mouth tightly and nodded firmly. Lucy turned around and grabbed a pair of scissors and bandages, and soon after Wendy ran into the room.
"Lucy, I need you to cut the bandages off of Natsu so I can see the wound clearly." Lucy nodded and started cutting the fabric. Once she cut the side enough for it to be pulled off, she grabbed put her hands on Natsu's and pulled it off of him. Natsu hissed in pain and Lucy cringed,
"Sorry." Wendy tapped Natsu's hands and he reluctantly raised them up, she immediately grabbed a wet towel and wiped away all the blood that was on his stomach and found the large gash. The stitchings she previously put there were gone, she frowned in confusion and grabbed a needle and thread.
"I'm really sorry Natsu, but I need to stitch up the wound. It's gonna hurt pretty bad..." Natsu nodded and calmed his breathing slightly, Wendy took this as her cue and started repairing the sword wound.
After what felt like hours, Wendy finished patching up Natsu and bandaging him up. He had passed out from the loss of blood but he was doing better than before. Wendy groaned and stood up from her spot on the ground, she walked out onto the deck to wash her hands from the blood. On her way there, Levy walked up to her with a smile,
"Hey, Wendy." Her expression suddenly turned serious, "Is Natsu ok? I could hear you in his room." Wendy put her hands up and smiled,
"Yeah, he's ok now. We had to stitch him up again and replace the bandages but he'll be ok now." Levy nodded and sighed, a smile spreading across her face,
"Good. But you might want to wash your hands off. You look like you just killed someone." Wendy looked at her hands and laughed,
"Yeah I probably should."
