Excuse me Jake!?

"Oh wow really? How do you think they are going to react when you tell them," he asks me.

"I honestly don't know, but I'm ready to tell my parents that we are dating," I tell him.

*knocking on door*

"Oh what's up Nick?" Chance tells Nick while opening the door.

Nick told Chance something but I couldn't hear what he told him.

"Umm, I'll be back in a minute babe," he tells me while running out of the room.

Chance's POV

"Oh what's up Nick?" I tell him while opening the door.

"There is someone who needs to talk to you downstairs," he whispers to me like if he did not want Tessa to hear.

"Um what do you mean? Who's downstairs?" I ask Nick.

"Okay, fine, it's Jake he needs to talk to you, he said it's something that can't wait," he tells me.

"Umm, I'll be back in a minute babe," I tell Tessa while running out of the room.

I'm running down the stairs at 1:30 in the morning to see what Jake wants to talk about. He's in the office just sitting there.

"Um hey Jake..." he interrupted.

"Sit down."  He said in a commanding voice.

"Listen Chance, you're my best friend, but Tessa is really important to me so take care of her!"

"Bro, you know I love Tessa!"

"Yes Chance, I know but I don't want Tessa to get hurt!"

"Yo, hold on Jake, what about me? What if I get hurt?"

"Dude obviously that's not gonna happen, Tessa is not like Alissa!!"

"What the he'll Jake! You know damn well I know she's nothing like... THAT!"

"SHUT UP CHANCE! May I remind you that I onced loved her!"

"Sorry Jake, but you insulted her first!"

"You know what Chance just go to sleep, I honestly just wanted to tell you not to hurt Tessa because well ugh ever since Alissa broke my heart, well you know before "chessa" ever existed, Tessa and I had something.."
