When WW2 Started in September 1, 1939 when Germany invaded Poland, France and Britain stepped in to help the Polish, sadly, the Polish lost, then in 1940, they finally invaded Belgium, Holland, Netherlands, and France.
France and Britain prepared defenses, so The Allies and The Axis clashed 1-on-1 in Europe.
