"Kaoru Kiritsu... That poor child... Jashin, can I send this child to the other realm?" A young black haired, pale skinned goddess questioned her colleague. "Are you sure about this kami? Is this the child you wish to take on the role?" Jashin questioned kami's decision to send the kid in the recent file, back to the world of the living. " Jashin, I think it is best that the role is filled sooner rather than latter. And besides he is already waiting on the waters." Kami said, revealing that she had already made the decision. Jashin heaved a heavy sigh and nodded to show he understood.
"Good then I shall go greet him!" Kami jumped from her seat and giddily ran from her office to the place she had Kaoru wait on the waters. Twisting and turning through the hallways, Kami finally made it to Kaoru's location after about 10 minutes of running.
"Kaoru! Hey Kaoru! Over here!" Kami called out as she neared the boy. The boy looked more precious and pure up close than he did in his profile. The boy with brown and golden hair and pure blue eyes overshadowed with sadness and tears. "Kaoru... I'm sorry..." Kami looked into the eyes that raised to meet hers. They looked broken, shattered like glass. They looked so fragile. "Please Kami... Please let me forget! I don't want to remember! Please... HELP ME!"
Kami was taken aback by the broken child in front of her. The cries he voiced dented her armor in a way that made the young goddess feel for once, since she had taken the office, that she should take pity upon the shattered soul in front of her. She stepped forward and held the child in her arms. Kami whispered soft and soothing words into the child's mind. Softly locking away the boy's memories of his past life, singing him to sleep. Raising her lips she kissed his head, granting him the gifts that came with the mark of the goddess.

Kami raised her palm to the child's head and slowly pushed him under the waters. She watched as he slowly descended into the next world. His knowledge of the next world would start in a years time. He retained his knowledge of everything that didn't pertain to his family. The small girl stared down at the boy, finally disappearing as he entered the new world... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kaoru's POV
Slowly opening my eyes, I came to see a large green forest surrounding me completely. I looked around and tried to figure out where I was. My throat felt unusually partched and breathing itself was a painful task. Straining my ears, I picked up on the sound of running water. I pushed up from the tree I was at, only to fall forward onto my knees. Crawling forward, I made it to the small lake on the other side of the clearing. Sticking my head into the water, I gulped down large quantities greedily. Being in water felt surprisingly calming. I raised my head out of the water and my eyes trained onto the person looking back at me... -... looks like I'm about 7... hmmmm. What was my name again?.... koru? Kari? Kaoru?... that sounds right...- my body looked like a younger version of 'myself' and surprisingly had little cuts and bruises coloring my tan skin. As I looked into the water my body felt extremely heavy. I fell forward expecting to hit the water, only to be caught by something. My head laid on a warm body as I fell asleep. _____________________________ Kakashi's POV
I watched from the tree I was perched on. As I looked across the clearing I saw a boy only about 7 or so sleeping against a tree. I analyzed the boy's condition to see he was covered head to toe in cuts and bruises. I continued to watch as the boy slowly opened his eyes looking around. He was small and fragile looking. He seemed to try and stand up only to fall to his knees. He was weak and injured, most likely from a fight or training. He crawled towards me to the lake beneath me. Bringing myself out of my thoughts, I realized the kid was passing out. Leaping from the tree, I caught him seconds before he hit the water. The boy seemed to take comfort in my arms and nestled into my chest.
"Who is this kid..." Sighing as I looked down to see the kid. The boy looked so peaceful, curled up in my arms. I relaxed as the gates of konoha came into view. However.... It seems the two gate keepers are still fast asleep.
I walked up to the two expending as little energy as possible and tapped the desk. The two woke immediately in a fighting stance. "Oh kakashi it's just you.... Sorry 'bout that. Who's the little guy?" Izimo inquired tilting his head ever so slightly to the side. "I have no idea but he seems to need medical attention so I'm taking him to the hospital. I'm just here to sign in." I answered the question quietly, ensuring that I didn't wake up the sleeping boy. Kotetsu nodded and I left swiftly for the hospital. After about ten minutes of waiting, the nurses concluded that there was no extreme injuries and that he should wake up tomorrow morning. I smiled and took my leave to the hokage's office to report on this mysterious boy. _____________________________ 3rd POV
Kaoru lay in the hospital bed sleeping deep in his dreams. In his dream he was shown a picture of a person with gravity defying hair. Reaching out and touching the card, the picture turned into a full show as Kaoru watched parts of kakashi's past unfold. He felt the pain and sorrow Kakashi felt and the happiness he wished for. Kakashi, through a single night, became an important person that Kaoru now desired to meet.
As he left the card, chains began to surge upwards from the murky waters below. Kaoru immediately panicked and ran from the chains that gave chase. Wrapping securely around his ankles, tripping him in the process. Heat rose through the chains and as they made contact with his skin, a single message was burned into his mind. 'Tell anyone of these premonitions and you're dead...'
Holy ballls how long has it beeen!!!! Ok guys I'm really really really sorry! I haven't updated anything in soooooooooooo long! I kinda lost my account password and forgot which email I used, but was to lazy to find it when school started kicking in at high gear. I will be trying to update more frequently, at least on this book so I'll see if I can get one or so out each week to make it up to you guys! I really hope you keep reading. -Good reads my feathers!
