VI. Finding Megs

Carrie White

"Okay, what now?? I mean, do we just wait or what??" I asked as Optimus turned to me.

"If Megatron is planning to wipe out this Earth, then we must stop him. We can't have him take over and humans perish the palm of his hand. We can not allow it. Bumblebee, you will go with me to stop Megatron from going any further. Arcee, you and Bulkhead will be back up. Ratchet, I need you to pinpoint the exact location of the Nemesis." Optimus ordered as everyone acknowledged. Miko, Jack, Raf, and I walked off leaving the others to prepare for what will happen.

:*Carrie??*: I froze in my tracks and turned to see Bumblebee and Optimus behind me.

"Yes??" I looked to meet two pair of baby blue eyes.

"Ratchet, Bumblebee, and I have agreed to this decision. It sounds dangerous. But I think you should come with us to stop Megatron." Optimus explained as my heart raced. What the frag is going on here??

"What am I doing??"

:* Optimus thinks that you have a better chance at stopping him. We seen what you did and we think you could help us.*: Bumblebee stated as I looked at my feet.

"But, why me?? I'm just an ordinary girl from Dallas that moved here last year because she was getting bullied at her school so badly, that she almost got killed from someone's parent who tried to run her over. I just want to be normal. But..."

"I will help you. Just so I can get all of the pain out of my chest. If it's worth it, I want to thank for saving me from my dad. Let's hope I'm Primus' right decision." I assured as Optimus nodded and walked away leaving Bumblebee and me behind.

"Think you'll handle this??" I heard as I looked back up to see Bumblebee in his holoform.

"I'll try, but if anything goes down, we're done for." I stated as Bee nodded and wrapped his arms around me. It made me less tense when he did this and finally decided to hug back.

Just as we pulled apart, Ratchet called both of us to the ground bridge.

:Ready??*:

"Ready as I'll ever be." I ran out to the bridge just in time to see Optimus locked and loaded.

"We will be taking vehicular mode for the time being. Carrie, if anything happens to me or Bumblebee, call Ratchet for backup." Optimus insured as I nodded and hopped into Bumblebee's now alt mode. Optimus then transformed into his Alt before running through the bridge, following close behind was Bumblebee and I.

Third Person

Carrie, Bumblebee, and Optimus have been driving around the area of Jasper and haven't got any word from Ratchet about the location.

Optimus thought about Carrie thinking she hasn't had her nutrition (food), so they pulled over at a gas station.

"Wow, Prime. You must have read my mind." She said as both her and Bee pulled up next to Optimus.

:*We'll be here.*: Bee assured as Carrie nodded and got out of Bumblebee's alt and walked to the door of the convenience store.

"Hi, can I get this chocolate bar, please??" She asked the cashier as the man looked at her.

"Of course." He said as he grabbed the bar. Just as he gave it to her, someone came from behind Carrie and placed a rag over her mouth which she accidentally breathed in and passed out. But not before hearing...

"Nighty Night, Prime's pet."

Optimus Prime

Time passed by and I grew more worried about Carrie. She had been gone for a good 2 hours which does not take that long to get food.

"Bumblebee, something's wrong." I assured as Bumblebee whirled in agreement.

"HELP!!" I heard as I immediately changed into my holoform, same as Bumblebee, and walked inside the building.

"Hello, Prime."

"Megatron."

"Good to know you recognize me in this form. I see you brought the bug with you, too." Megatron cooed as Bumblebee took a step forward but I held him back.

"Where is Carrie?!" Bumblebee demanded as Megatron gave off an evil smile. One which only made my energon boil.

"Bring her in, Knockout." Megatron commanded as his medic brought in Carrie, tied up and gagged.

"Megatron, release the girl."

"Let me think. No."

Carrie White

My eyes felt so watery and they were burning. I tried opening the but, they would burn when I tried. I did happen to get a glimpse of Optimus and Bumblebee in their holoforms and someone holding me.

"Optimus..." It sounded so fading but I guess I should have never talked because the next thing I know, I'm thrown to the ground. I hissed in pain as I held my now sprained ankle.

"Nobody asked you to talk!!" The red headed dude shouted as I sat up and held my ankle.

"You okay, Carrie??" Bumblebee asked as he knelt down and picked me up.

"Yeah, my ankle just hurts." I said as I winced when my ankle was lifted.

"I will say this once and only once, bow down to me or everyone on this planet will be terminated from the universe." Megatron threatened as Optimus eyes went wide.

"Bumblebee, get Carrie out of here now!!" Optimus ordered as Bumblebee ran me to his alt, placed me in it, and his holoform disappeared.

"Hi, Carrie!!" I froze when I heard the familiar voice. It was Mothersucking Miko.

"Miko!! What the ham turkey sandwich are you doing here??" I shouted as Miko shrugged.

"I followed you here, so the end." She said as I facepalmed.

"Okay, I'm calling Ratchet." I said as I pressed my comm link. But then it went static.

"Great. My day just turned into one big fiesta." I said with sarcasm as I turned off my comm link and sat back in the seat.

:*What is Miko doing here?!!*: Bumblebee chirped as I sighed in frustration.

"Obviously, she followed us here." I rephrased before hearing a boom and saw the gas station blow up.

"Optimus!!" I shouted as I looked out of the window and saw the mushroom cloud rising in the air.

"Right here." I heard as I looked over at Optimus' alt and saw him standing there. I smiled before the engines roared and we all took off.
