Ken
Fulton Atlanta county jail
Sitting in a room, I said nothing as people came in and out the room. Finally two people came in and sat down across from me.
"Are you gonna talk or not?". The woman asked me and I turned my head.
"Did you beat her or not?". I shook my head and chuckled.
"I didn't put my hands on her that way".
"What do you mean that way?". The man asked.
"We got into an argument because she wouldn't leave my house, she slapped me so I pushed her against the wall".
"So you did hit her".
"No I didn't, after that I went upstairs to get her things, why would I beat a woman that's seven months pregnant?".
"We should be asking you that".
"She left after getting her clothes and shit, I didn't touch her after that".
"Okay but you admitted to pushing her against the wall?". My leg started shaking and I got annoyed.
"Because that's the truth, I don't have anything to lie about".

The two cops left the room and after a while I able to leave. Walking down the hall way I seen mari, kris, my mom and de'arra.
"Kenneth what happened?".
"Gabby got me arrested ma".
"Why would she do that?". My mom asked.
"Because I put her out of my house".
"Oh there is a god". Shaking my head, I looked at de'arra and waved her over to me.
"So what's going on, I know you're not going to jail?". Kris asked.
"Man I don't know, she probably is taking this to court". Wrapping my arms around de'arra, my mom raised an eyebrow.
"Oh ma this is de'arra, de'arra that's my mom".
"We met, I was just waiting for my son to say something". Mari started laughing and I looked at him.
"Say what?". De'arra hit my back and I chuckled.
"yeah this is my lady right here". Looking down at de'arra, she started smiling.
"Well I like her more than the other one". My mom said as she grabbed her purse.
While I talked to my brother and Mari, my mom pulled de'arra to the side and they talked.
"You was really crying huh?". I asked as I got into de'arra's car.
"Yes, I was scared".
"You don't have to be scared". Pulling off, I drove back to my house.
"You could've went to jail Kenneth". She said as I opened the door.
"Oh you calling me by my government, you serious".
"I am serious, tell me what happened". Sitting on the couch, I put de'arra on my lap.
"She call the cops and claimed I beat her".
"What?".
"Yeah, I doubt that the cops believed my side, gabby going to fucking far". I said while de'arra laid on my shoulder.
"Can you go near her?".
"No she put a restraining order against me, this is all a bit act".
"Well I believe you if no one else does".
"I know you do but I could lose my job over this, gabby trying to ruin my life". De'arra rubbed the back of my head and kissed me.
"I'll be here with you the whole way then Ken".
"Good because I need you". Moving from my lap, she straddled me and put her arms around my neck.
"We met under difficult circumstances but I wanna be with you, we can get through this together".
"I wanna be with you too baby". Kissing de'arra, I put my hands up her shirt and held her waist.
Getting deeper into the kiss, I ended up on top of her while sucking on her neck.
"Ken". De'arra moaned as I left hickies on her neck.
"Hmm?".
Right when I was about to kiss her, I heard a phone ring.
"Hello?". De'arra answered her phone.
I got off of de'arra as she walked around the room grabbing her things.
"I'm sorry but I forgot that I had to work today ken".
"That's cool, as long as you come back over here". Walking to the door, I opened it.
"I will baby see you later". De'arra pecked my lips and rushed out of the house.

De'arra
"Okay I'll be back with your medication". I said as I left a room, going down the hall.
"where have you been?". Lisa asked.
"Jalisa you're late almost everyday".
"You like using government names bitch, stop that".
"Anyway, ken has a lot going on right now so I was there". I said as I sat down in the break room.
"Yeah you was with him alright". She said while looking at my neck.
"Dammit ken". Pulling my hair over my neck, Lisa shook her head.
"So y'all together now?".
"Yeah we are, as of today". Looking at the time on my phone I got up and grabbed my things.
"Girl lets go because we are not supposed to be on break". I said as both of us left the room.

"Yo so what happened?". Mari asked. I was at my moms house he decided to pull up.
"I told you that girl was crazy". Kris said.
"I already tried to break up with her prior to the situation, man I come back home and she sitting outside on the phone like she still lives there".
"She don't have no where else to go".
"Exactly, she then told me the baby wasn't mines. I forgot how the shit went down but she slapped me and I pushed her against the wall".
"Nigga that's where you fucked up". Mari said.
"I know, she put a restraining order against me and all that. Gabby knows what she doing".
After a while Mari had to go to work so I went back home and waited until de'arra got off of work.
"Hey". She said as I opened the door for her.
"You look tired baby". I grabbed her bag for her and we went to my room.
"I am, I was running around the hospital for hours". Sitting on the bed, de'arra started taking her clothes off and I chuckled.
"See how you teasing me right now?".
"Im not, just putting on shorts". Laying in bed, de'arra laid on top of me and I rubbed her ass.
"You're mom is nice". She said out of nowhere.
"I know, she's straight forward so if she says she likes you then you don't have to worry about anything".
"That's good to know, who was that other man there?". De'arra asked.
"That was my friend Mari, you'll get to know them soon".
De'arra started to fall asleep and I kissed her forehead before turning the light off.
