CHAPTER 7

Grace's POV

I froze still standing in the line. That voice I thought. No it can't be! I turned around slowly and saw my ex boyfriend Jack standing there with a look of surprise on his face.

"Oh my god, it IS you," he said as he rushed over. I looked down at my watch and saw that I only had 10 minutes till I had to get back to Niall.

"Jack, I can't talk to you please leave me alone," I pleaded.

"Wha? no way I just met you after 3 years!" he exclaimed.

I turned around and placed my order, a slice of pepperoni and cheese, with a can of coke. I got my food, payed, and left rushing to get back to Niall before I get in trouble.

"Grace come on, let's go and talk." he said racing after me and grabbed my elbow.

"Let go of me," I hissed at him.

Suddenly I heard a familiar Irish accent say, "Oy! get your hands off my girlfriend!" For once in my life I was happy Niall was here.

"Girlfriend?" Jack said. Niall put his arms around my waist and said, "you heard me now scram."

"No, I get to talk to her if I want to," Jack growled at Niall. I tugged on Niall's arm trying to go to the door.

"Niall just let it go and let's leave," I pleaded.

"No he needs to learn a lesson. Stand back Grace I don't want you get hurt," Niall as he pushed me away from him. I stumbled and almost fell but caught myself. Niall walked right up to Jack and curled his hand into a fist and slammed it into Jacks face. Everything went by in a blur. Jack on the ground with Niall on top of him(not like that ;)) pounding his fist into his face. I heard a whistle and security came over. Niall looked up and spat on Jacks face and walked back towards me with a smirk on his face.

"Now he'll know not to mess with what's his," he told me. I took the bags and walked out the door losing my appetite after what I just witnessed. I hopped on his back with the bags in my hand. We ran off and stopped at a ice cream place.

"Stay here," he growled. "don't bother running off, ill always find you. I gulped and nodded. He picked up my bags and ran off in vampire speed. I sat on a bench and watche people walk by. A family with two kids and a loving mother and father. A tear slipped down my face realized that I wanted to have a family like that.

"Come on," a soft voice called me out my trance. I looked up and saw Niall looking at me with a loving smile. I took his hand and placed it in mine and walked to the ice cream shop.

"Get me a chocolate cone," I told Niall and I sat down at a booth.

"Here you go malady,"he told me as he bowed down to give it to me.

"Why thank you sir," I said playing along. We were eating our cones in comfortable silence. It was peaceful until Nialls phone started to ring. He sighed got up and went to answer it. I threw the rest away and looked up and saw Niall with a look of anger on his face and he was talking very fast. He ended the call and came stalking back to me.

"We need to leave," he growled.

"What? why?" I asked.

"Don't ask questions!" he snapped and put me on his back running back to the house with vampire speed. O closed my eyes as dizziness washed over me. He placed me down while I groaned holding my head.

"What's wrong Grace?" he asked in a very worried tone.

"Its my head," I answered. "I don't know why." he picked me up as I snuggled into his chest. I was placed on something soft, a bed maybe. I slipped into sleep when I felt a arm wrap around my waist.
