The next morning, you woke up with a bit of a headache. It wasn't something you weren't used to. After all the alcohol you had, other people would have a bad day today. But you never really had hangovers. You started your day of with a shower. Getting into your bathrobe you walked to your kitchen. You liked your appartment a lot. It was quite high up, it looked clean and nicely with all the white, and the big windows in your kitchen and living room. Ofcourse it was pricy, but you worked hard at your hometown to move here. A big city. While toasting some bread, you scrambled some eggs and cut a grapefruit for a nice breakfast. You put your plate down and got yourself a cup of coffee to oficially start the day. After your breakfast, you decided which clothes to wear to your job interview. You chose a black tight knee-length skirt, a white kind-of croptop which didn't show any skin -because your skirt is highwaisted, and a black short blazer, fitted nicely. You put in some pearl earrings, stepped into your black heels and straightened your hair. After putting on your natural make-up, you tied up your hair in a high ponytail and looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked neat and clean. Brushing your teeth, grabbing your bag and putting a few documents into it which you may need, you took off and closed the door behind you.
After getting out of the elevator, you got on the bus just in time. You sighed nervously as you had to stand up in the bus. You took the bus because in such a big city, taking the car -which you didn't own anyway would took a while. Getting more and more nervous while the time was ticking, you closed your eyes waiting for your stop to come.
You arrived at the company you were dreaming of working at. Golden black. It was not the best and biggest bussines, but the last few years it went so well with the company, and you had always wondered why. You dreamed of working at a company so big, you wanted to have a good career that you could enjoy and be proud of. This had been your dream for so long. You didn't need someone else, you always thought. You were perfectly fine on your own. You didn't want someone to restrain you, cut off your freedom, keep you from doing what you love. You wanted to make yourself proud, as well as your parents. You wanted this so much. You studied so much for this. You liked your attitude towards life. You knew you were playing around too much with boys. But, that way you couldn't get hurt, but you did get the attention you sometimes needed. Not knowing what life was all about, you decided to make the most of it.
Your name was called and you stood up, stroking your skirt and walked towards the door. You could hear your heels ticking on the marble black floor. You stopped for a moment before you walked in, sighed deeply and took the first step inside.
