Jungkook:
Stepping into the game convention, all the cool cosplays and display stands excited you instantly. From Star Wars dorks to legendary Esports people, this place was nerd heaven. You instantly started walking around, whipping out your camera and asking for pictures with people.
After a few hours of this, you finally stopped at a booth that had drawings and sculptures of video game characters lining the wall around it. You instantly spotted the one you wanted: D.Va from Overwatch.
It was a cute little hand-painted statue, and underneath, the price read $55.90. Not only was it cute, it was also the only one of its kind, along with being extremely affordable.
You told the guy behind the counter that you were interested in buying it.
"You're an Overwatch fan, huh? I'm surprised." He said. You were slightly offended at first, and it must have been clearly evident on your face.
He turned, chuckling, and said, "No, I just meant that normally the girls who I've seen that are into Overwatch are nowhere near as attractive as you."
You were glad he turned around to get your change at this point, because you were blushing like a tomato at his words.
When he turned back around, he held your change in one hand and a sliver of paper in the other. He bagged up the statue and handed it over the counter.
You nodded graciously as he handed you the piece of paper. On it was a messily scrawled phone number that said '~jungkook/annoying overwatch guy' next to it. You laughed and looked at him.
"I'm Y/n. It's nice to meet you Jungkook. I'll definitely call you sometime." You said with a smile. He looked at you and smiled widely before you walked off, back into the sea of nerds.
Jimin:
You'd lived in Hawaii your whole life, but only recently started your job as a tour guide. This meant you took passengers onto boat rides and showed them the coolest attractions around the island. It was fun work, seeing all the people from different places.
Today, however, seemed different. You were giving a Korean group called "BTS" a tour. You had never heard of them and truthfully, you were afraid they would be cocky and rude.
Upon meeting them they were just the opposite, you'd figured out. They said thank you for everything, and just looked in wonder at all the cool sights. The way they thought everything was so amazing reminded you of the way a child might look at the world: with pure wonder and excitement.
The only thing was that they insisted upon recording everything.
At one point, one of them, you recalled that his name was Jimin, pulled you over to him, the camera now in your face.
"And this is our amazing tour guide named Y/N! Isn't she amazing?" He said, speaking to the camera. You laughed, swatting him on the shoulder and standing back up to walk to the front of the boat.
Suddenly, the camera flew out of his hand and into the water. The boat came to a stop and you were more ready than ever, happy you'd decided to wear a diving suit under your clothes. You took off any clothes in the way of the diving suit and donned a pair of goggles, diving into the water.
You were lucky that the camera hadn't fallen much further. You came back up, camera in hand and looked at him.
"Do I have to tape this to you? Please don't make me jump in again." You said, laughing at his embarrassment. You assured him you were kidding and went back to explaining where they were as the boat took off again.
A few hours later, when the tour was finally over and the boat had long since docked, Jimin caught your arm as you were walking away.
"Hey, uh Y/N? I wanted to thank you... and also give you my number." You laughed at his nervousness, but nodded your head. He typed his number into your phone and after saying their thank you's and goodbye's, the boys were off, back on their way to their hotel.
Taehyung:
Looking back on it now, you weren't sure what you were thinking when you majored in photography. But now it was senior year, and you were stuck. The final project of the year, the one that determined about 80% of your grade, was a partner project.
You were partnered up with a boy named Kim Taehyung. He was a bit overzealous, and definitely the "troublemaker" type, but he was a nice guy. When he needed to buckle down and get serious, he did. Not to mention his pictures were absolutely extraordinary. He had a way of capturing everything in such a beautiful, candid light.
On the day that you met up to work on the project, you spilled that you had absolutely no idea what to do. He laughed, shaking his head at your nervousness.
"It simple really, what do you like to take pictures of? You take the best pictures when they're of things that you love." He said. You nodded, thinking about the things that inspired you in your photography. The first things that came to mind were big cities and skylines. You explained this to him and he nodded excitedly.
"I know just the place." He said, standing up and grabbing his bag. Upon stepping outside, he grabbed your hand and walked down the street, walking quickly because it was cold and neither of you had brought a jacket.
After stepping into a rickety elevator shaft in a large abandoned warehouse, you traveled up to the roof. The view from up there was amazing, and the perfect place for your pictures.
When the night was over, you thanked him for helping you with your part of the project.
"Wait, Y/N, before you leave," he said, grabbing your phone from your hand, "let me give you my phone number."
He quickly entered his number into your phone and you asked to do the same for his phone. After that, he walked you back to your dorm. You fell asleep with a goofy smile on your face thinking about him.
