Vivian POV:
I woke up to the smell of bacon and not my alarm clock witch was weird because it's 7:30 and my alarm didn't go off. I sat up slowly and stretched my arms out. I got up out of bed and grabbed clothes some black skinny jeans a white crop top and some black heeled boots but for a final touch why not add my Black leather jacket? I took a shower and got dressed brushed my hair and French braided it than my dad called,
"V GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE YOU SLOW POKE!"
"DAD I'M NOT A POKEMON!" I heard him laugh at me I knew he would laugh. I walked down stairs and saw my dad with a lot and I mean a lot of bacon,
"What is the occasion?"
"No occasion."
"Why so much bacon?"
"Um... well,"
I cut him off
"you want me to do something."
"Yeah less of me more your sister."
"The sister that wanted nothing to do with me a few years ago yeah no."
"She wants you at her sweet 16."
Nope not happening dad sorry
"Sorry dad but no,"
"She said you could bring a friend if not a girl it could be a boy."
"Fine but if all of my friends so no I am not going ok,"
"Ok."

"That's my ride dad bye," I kissed him on the cheek and grabbed a had full of bacon more like arm full. hopped into Jojo's car and went to school. But on our way I asked both of them if they could go to my sisters sweet 16 in like a week from now they both replied with lame excuses looks like I am spending this week trying to get to know Jack so I can ask him to go.

Jack POV:
I woke up to my phone alarm play the song "I feel like a monster!" I just don't know why but today feels like it's going to be a good day at that thought I smile a bit and walk to my closet grab a black t shirt and some jeans I take a show and grab my dog tags from my bathroom cabinet. I put on my black high tops and dash down the stairs.
"Hey honey did you sleep well? you seem Happy today!"
"That my dear mother I did sleep well. As well am I happy,"
"Don't use bad grammar and why are you so happy?"
"Because today is a good day." I smile at her and grab an apple off the counter kiss her on the cheek and go outside grab my bike and ride to school on the way I think about Vivian maybe I can secretly be her friend and explain everything. That's what I'm going to do. As I ride in a put my bike up I see a not so happy Vivian standing next to a laughing his ass of Kyle. Vivian looks like she was crying a minute ago.
"What the hell is happening?"
"S-she asked where you were an-and I asked why she needed to know," He started laughing again
"She said that she wanted to talk to you because you were nice to her!" This time he burst out with laughter. Out of anger I grab Vivian and turn away from Kyle.
"Look I need you to know that the guys thing I am a jerk to you. So I have decided to be secret friends I really like talking to you ok." She crossed her arms over her chest.
"OK but I hope you know you can't keep it a secret forever so what I am gonna do is pretend to be angry and stomp over to the bath house that way you Mr. Ego don't have your friends up your ass."
"Ok bye," I said trying to look mean to her. She did as she said and man is she a good actor. Her friends followed her after glaring at me.
"What the hell did you do to her?" Lucas asked.
"Told her off." I replied looking at my shoes. Well I can't wait till history.

Vivian POV:

SKIP TO 2ND PERIOD....
I turn to my next class witch was history kind of exited I started walk toward it and soon I hear someone call my name it was Jack yes! He is my friend.
"Hey."
"Hello." He replied he looked happy today and by happy I mean happy. In the middle of studying he whispered to me.
"Hey can I have your number to make this friend thing work?" He asked it was cute but I nodded and took his phone I secretly put my number in it so the teacher wouldn't know and passed it back to him. He chuckled and sent me a smiley face. I looked up and smiled. He smiled back as I sent him a smiley face sticking it's tongue out. After class he smiled at me said bye and to meet him in the gym after school I was exited and the rest of my day was just me being extremely exited for the end of the day but also nervous. When the moment came I only carried my leather jacket it was hot outside so I didn't want to die. As I walked into the gym I looked up this was my first time seeing it. It was huge the was door to my left that said pool witch was cool. I walked toward the middle and just stood there and before I could tell what was happening I was swept off my feet. Letting out a loud scream and a light laugh I could tell it was Jack.
"Hey."
"HI there." He chuckled
"You just scared the fuck out of me."
"I know." He winked and put me down.
"Why did I meet you here?"
"To hang out without people around do you wanna go to the park?"
"Sure let me text my dad that I will be with Davina until... let's say 9:00 ok?"
He nodded as I texted
"my dad my dad said ok." I almost shouted. He looked happier than this morning and I liked it.
We took a walk in the park and around night time we laid in the grass looking at the stars.
He turned his head to look at me and I looked at his face and laughed.
"What have you seen a girl before?" I joked he chuckled.
"Not one that was my friend." He smiled nervously.
"What's up you suddenly lost your happy?"
"My happy is laying next to me right now." He smiled. I blushed and replied with "What?"
"Your my friend you make me happy."
"Thanks." I smiled he stated with a shaky voice
"No thank you." His eyes twinkled in the moon light he was handsome and gentle and kind.

Jack POV:
She looked so pretty with the Stars shinning in her eyes she seemed to be focused on my face but I didn't mind because I was focused on hers. I reached for her hand with mine and our fingers tangled together she blushed and looked at my hand she enjoyed it I think I never wanted this moment to end. But It was 8:00 we went to a cafe and got coffee and talked about middle school and how happy we were to be out of it when soon a waitress came over looked at ,e with bright hopeful eyes and said
"hey cutie."
I nudged my head up and said
"Sup."
She turned her head to Vivian and and scolded her like she did something wrong. She left but soon came back with a cup of water and pretend to accidentally spill it on me.
"OMG I am so sorry young man here let me help you!" She chirped like she did it on accident she dabed my shirt with a handkerchief with her other hand on my chest. Vivian stood pushed the waitress away and took the handkerchief. She looked proud but angry she whispered softly.
"I'm sorry,"
"Don't be." I whispered back holding her elbow as she tried to dry my shirt. The waitress stood up huffed at Vivian and glared at her
"He deserves someone better." She growled at Vivian. Who was blushing. just by thinking of her being my girlfriend makes me want to kiss her.
Soon it was 9:00 witch was the time she had to be home I walked her home and told her.
"Text me." She nodded and ran off into her house.
As soon as I got home I received a text it said

Vivian POV:
I put on my pj's and crawl in bed and look at my phone that I did not look at after I sent that good night text to Jack he called me V. I blushed a bit ugh stop Vivian he doesn't like you he is your friend that held your hand and yeah. I sighed wishing he liked me. But he don't I should just get over it. I already did my chores and homework and I ate at the cafe with Jack I should be OK I set my alarm for a bit earlier than normal so I could be at school before Jack again. I set my phone down and plug it in on my night stand a drift off to sleep.
