The sun loved the moon so much he died every night just to let her breathe

"I can't cry anymore" said the moon to the stars
"Are you finally happy?" They asked... The moon looked at them with a look that made all the stars worry.
"No." The moon said and started to sob
"Why?" One of the stars ask
"It's so dark here. I have no happiness. The sun makes me feel so happy, but when I try to see him, he leaves... Am I not good enough? Does he not love me? Why am I not beautiful?" The moon said in between sobs....
"Moon... You're so clueless" says the stars.
"It's not dark here. The sun makes you shine. You are good enough moon, the sun shines only you through the night. He does love you, that's why at night he leaves. He leaves to let you shine. You are beautiful, moon. The sun shines to make you more beautiful because he loves you." The littlest star says.
The moon stops sobbing.
"Really? He thinks I'm beautiful? Why would he make someone like me shine?" The moon asks so curiously..
"You see... The sun has had a very tough life. Nobody really like the sun. They think he's too bright and too hot. They curse him for things that he can't help. He sees you moon and he sees how you treat yourself. He makes you shine so that other people know how beautiful you are so that you know how beautiful you are too. The sun plans to meet you, but it takes so long because he gets so nervous around you. He sees you and wonders how something so beautiful could be in such darkness. He tells the clouds all about you. When he's sad he makes you shine brighter than ever before because he doesn't want you to be hurt like him. They say that  the sun loves the moon. It must be true. He treats you better than he does anyone else..." Says the North star.
"The moon also loves the sun." The moon says quietly.
"More than anyone else.."
The moon stops sobbing and starts shining for the sun, and the sun keeps shining the moon until the end of time.
