Just A Crush

It was a school day. As boring as always. I, myself didn't really have a solid opinion on school. Some days I love school because I would hang out with my friends and see... Sam... Sam is the most popular guy and school. I recently figured out that I had feelings for him--after I discovered that I was gay-- but then again, who doesn't like him? He is the most popular guy in school ya' know. But.. Unlike some popular kids, he's really nice. Sam doesn't bully the kids below him. Like this one other day I bumped into him, or, he bumped into me... I don't really know, either way, he didn't seem to really mind.
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you like that" he said. And I thought, Why is he being so nice to me..? I bent down to pick up the binder that had fell out of my hands when we bumped into eachother. He held out his hand, waiting for me to grab it.
"Thanks" I said quietly as I pulled myself up.
"It's not a problem" he responded.
His friends that where walking with him scoffed as if it where a problem for Sam, the most popular guy in school, to be helping a kid like me, Josh, the most unknown guy in school.
One of his friends, Alex, shouted, "Come on, Sam, let this loser be. The bell will ring soon."
Sam glared at his friend then looked at me and asked quietly, "I don't believe I have ever seen you around before, what's your name?" His voice was soft.. and.. how would I put it..? Ah, sexy, is the word.
"M-My name is Joshua.. B-But my friends call me Josh" I stuttered. He chuckled and said, "Ah, okay, see you around, Josh. I gotta get to class." He waved 'Bye' and walked off with his friends. I watched him walk off then I set off to class. Once I reached my classroom, I took out my notebook. Not the notebook I take notes in.. but the notebook I draw in.
To some people's surprise, I draw pretty good. I mean, I'm not the best drawer, but I try, and it doesn't take me a long time to draw either.
I didn't realize what I was drawing until I finished drawing it. It was a drawing of me and Sam.
