Spirit Of The Blue Moon

chapter two

           I made it out I got to the fence but there were two guards in front of the door I picked up a rock and throw it the opposed direction of me and it made a loud bang and both the guards went to see what it was. The morons I thought to myself and rolled my eyes. I ran to the door and when I got to Lily hill there was no one there so I sat at my mother's grave I stared at the headstone. It read Lillian Marten lay here Daughter, Mother, and beloved Wife. I closed my eyes and breathed in "hey mom I miss you"  a gust of wind blow my light brown hair back as tears fell done my face. A twig snap behind me I  jump and turned around  I was staring into icy blue eyes that have been haunting my dreams. I took a sharp intake of breath and held it I was lock into the wolf intense gaze. He was staring into my sky blue eyes I didn't look away from the wild beast then the wolf started to circle around me. I  didn't dare move from my spot on the ground trying not to breathe or move an inch then the wolf did something weird it sat next to my mom's grave and started to howl. I sat there frozen waiting for the wolf to tare me apart but he never did so I  dared to take a chance and turn my head to look at the majestic wolf howling.  The wolf has a long silk black coat with strict of silver running done it's back, a fluffy black tail, a pointy snout and small eyes that seem to sparkle under the blue light of the moon and his ears that stood up on top of his head. the wolf was breathtaking then he stops howling and looked at me and I froze he tilted  his head as if he was waited for me to do something, so I did I howled  it was the first thing to come to mind I bet I look like a crazy person but I just didn't know what else to do but while I was howling  Silver started to howl as well that's what I was going to call him since he only had one silver strip down his back. When we howled together it bounced off the trees and slowly faded into the night. The next morning I wake up on Lily hill I must have falling asleep last night I thought it was all a dream but it wasn't Silver was gone and I had to get back to the village before anyone knows am gone. I ran as fast as I could  back to the village when I get there the guards were asleep so I slip past them  and got to the side of my  house ware my window to my  room was amd  opened it,  I slipped in just at the right time because there was a knock on my door no doubt it was my brother I opened my door and Sure enough there he was his brown hair all mest up he had  sweat Stans on his shirt he looked like he just got back from a run which he problem had.

 "Yes, brother," I said with a smile on my face he looks done at me for he was "6'4" He made a small smile. "Just making sure you're up" he said as he narrowed his eyes at me "yep I've been up a while now" I said nervously " is that so" my brother said as he grabbed a twig from my hair " were you out in the woods by any chances " I tried to think of a good lie to tell him but nothing came to mind and my brother could tell when I was lying so it was no use. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed " yeah I was I went to visit moms grave" I said and my brother's face hardens "by yourself what were you thinking we heard wolfs last night they sounded like they were coming from that hill. What if they were still there you could have been killed" he said with a worry but anger tone I just rolled my eyes at my brother "yeah but I wasn't and I didn't see any wolfs while I was up there. I just wanted some alone time to talk to mom without having guards there and hearing everything I say when they don't need to" I pushed my brother aside and ran out the front door before he could say anything else. I went to the chicken coup when I got there Madison my friend was already there feeding the chickens. "Hey sorry I'm late" I said and got some bird seeds and joined her " its fine oh, by the way did you hear the wolfs last night they started howling like crazy it scared me" she said with a little fear in her voice "yeah I heard it" I said with a smile I was one of those wolfs last night I still can't believe what happen. wolf I met before look vicious but last night he was calm and majestic but also wild like. That night when I finished my chores  I went back to the house,  thank god when got there my brother wasn't. I  went straight to my room and sat on the bench by my widow I decried that tonight I would snick out again and wait on the top of the hill and hope Silver shows up. That night I went back to Lily hill and stayed at my mother's grave waiting for silver to come but he never did I fell asleep while I was waiting for him and when I woke up it was still drake out but the sun was just picking out behind the mountains.  I look to my left and smiled a little when I saw Silver laying by my mom's headstone I slowly got up and moved to the headstone so I was sitting on the other side of it I just stared at Silver's beautiful face and then his icy blue eyes were looking at me.

 I stayed where  I was staring at him I slide a little closer and he didn't do anything but lay there but I got even closer where  I could touch him and he started to growl so I back off a bit I moved back to where I was before then I look at the sunrise it was orange and pink it was beautiful.  I took a deep breath in and said "you know this is my mother's grave she was killed two years ago by the wolfs that attack our village but I don't hold a grudge against them or you" I paused then said "you were probably defending your traitor" then I look at silver  but he didn't do anything but close his eyes so I kept talking "I'm going to call you silvier  from now on because it fits you perfectly your black coat with one  strike of silver and your calm but mystery's to just like the night on a blue moon and do you know that we have meat before it was  during the  blue moon two years ago  I think the name fits you how about you do you like it." I ask him then he got up yawned then robbed his head on my arm then took off into the woods. I was shaken and just watched as he disappeared into the woods a small smile graced my face "see you later" I said into the wind.
