82 years since the Battle of Hogwarts. He had lived well. Two sons and one daughter, a wife, a nice job, many friends, old and new. And his scar hadn't been hurting since.
Sadly Ron had passed away years before Harry's moment. It had been hard losing his oldest friend and watch as Hermione cried on his coffin. And now it was Harry's turn.
Both Ginny and Hermione sat by his side, wiping their tears from their cheeks. James, Albus and Lilly were still to come.
'This is a good way to go.' Harry thought. 'Surrounded by friends and family, knowing you made the world a better place.'
So with that in mind and his hand in Ginny's, Harry Potter took one last breath and slept forever more.
