Your POV
"Now back to my job." Said Yoko as you heard him clench his gun tightly. And shoots aiming it at you but someone blocks it.

Zero.

He fell to the ground with blood on him. You let go of Kaname and run to his side by a tree. You open his shirt and see a pool of blood forming around his chest. You kind of knew how to stop blood flow from watching the action and killing movies a little as you were growing up.

You put your hand on the wounded area and tries to stop the blood from coming but it didn't seem to work. You looked up at everyone and they were just standing there looking at what was hailing in awe.

"Zero? can you hear me?" His breath was hesitated and seemed to be in a lot of pain.

"(Y/N)...." He took a breath. "I... I."

"You didn't have to do that for me ya know." A tear went down your cheek, followed by more and more tears. You were crying now while holding his hand in yours. You were so focused on Zero about to die you didn't notice that Yoko was about to send another shot when Mr. Yagari stopped him.

In muffled voices, all you heard was: "Too far... You're late already...Quit while you can..." But didn't hear the full conversation yet noticed the moon shine bright red before you. Zero tightened his grip on your hands.

"I did have to do this," a faint cough. "And thinking now, I wish I had danced with you at the dance..." He laughed which made you wonder why considering he was about to die right now how could there be a bright side?

"I had nothing better to live for so... If I'm dying, in glad it is with--- you... (Y/N)." His eyes closed and the grip on your hand.

"Zero! Zero!" You listen to his heartbeat as it stopped to see if he was breathing, he wasn't. More tears coming down your face as you noticed half of your face was covered in his blood. You fully grabbed his lifeless body and dug your face in his chest.

"You had a reason to live! And you know that you had to live you just had to," You pull apart from him. "At least for me." You stop crying with only anger inside of you for what Yoko had done.

Yet it wasn't even purposely aimed at Zero, he would give had an intention. You stood up and faced him but not too close more like 3 feet away.

"You want me to shoot you so you can be with him?" He pointed the gun at your head. "Here?," He pointed to your heart. "Or here to make it even?" He laughed then went back to bring seriously. Really why were you ever friends with him?

You wiped your face and stood strong feeling a little bit stronger as you noticed the flash of light like electricity flow through your hand again, but it lasted longer.

"You see, you're late." Said Mr. Yagari as he looked down at you.

"I'm afraid he is right." Said Kaname while everyone just eyed him and Mr. Yagari. Kaname just loved knowing things that other people don't, doesn't he?

You ignored what they were jibber jabbing about and took this conversation one on one.

"Take your best shot." Yuki tried to come your way to help but Kaname stopped her. Yoko shot but the bullet never reached you as it stopped him mid-air and this time you knew you were the one doing it.

With all the anger and sadness that mourned inside of you, you could stop it from coming. It fell to the ground. He lifted up the gun again.

"Try me."

"On three?" He said laughing.

"Sure.... 1.... 2.....3." You counted as he shot the bullet at you and you stopped it. But what you didn't know and totally forgot about was the fact that there were other vampire hunters and the also shot.
