Saeran woke up to the sound of his alarm clock blaring in his ears. He sat up and stretched his arms out, yawning in the process.
"Today's my birthday!~"
He said excitedly to himself as he flung the blankets to the other side of the bed and ran down the stairs, ready to see his presents.
He got to the bottom of the stairs to see that birthday decorations covered the walls and balloons stood behind the couch, though no one was home and no one left any gifts for him.
He sighed softly and whispered to himself.
"Guess they forgot..."
He walked slowly into the kitchen and took notice to a sticky-note on the fridge.
It read:
"Went out for the day.
  Cake in the fridge.
                                   ~Mom"
He teared up a little bit and opened the fridge, pulling out the birthday cake that was more than half eaten.
"Hehe...thanks guys..."
He grabbed a fork and some candles, bringing the items into the living room and setting them on the coffee (covfefe) table.
"T-they probably went out to get my gifts...y-yeah! That's what it is! They didn't forget about me!..."
His speech was broken by soft sobs that he tried to hold back.
"I might as well have fun while they're gone..."
He stuck a few candles into the cold cake and lit them with a lighter that had been lying on the table.
"I don't need them...I wish they didn't forget about me, though."
He took in a deep breath and blew the candles out, a few tears streaming down his face.
"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to~"
He sang jokingly as he wiped the tears away, staring at the white cake that had 'Happy Birthday' written on it with baby-blue icing.
He clenched his fists as he tried to choke back sobs, some escaping along with a few tears that continuously streamed down his face. He brought his fist up and plunged it into the cake repeatedly. Bits of red velvet cake flew onto the floor and onto his clothes. He brought his hands to his face and started crying harder than before, the red cake and blue icing temporarily staining his face with dyes as he poured out his heart through his eyes, in the form of tears. He stood up and grabbed the knife, that was lying in the container next to the cake, and plunged it into the balloons behind him. Fragments of pastel yellows, blues, greens, and pinks littering the floor more and more with each ballon he popped. He walked over to the walls and tore the tissue-ribbons down, them ripping as he did this. He let out a loud scream that hurt his throat, the pain forcing him to stop even though he wanted to continue. He sat there in the floor screaming and crying like a child having a temper tantrum. Many words flew from his mouth without a filter, expressing how he felt without any thought.
"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS FORGET ABOUT ME?!
WHY DO YOU HATE ME?!
WHY?!
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!?"
He sat there crying until he eventually calmed down, breathing heavily and feeling drowsy. He walked over to the couch and sat down, taking a fistful of cake in his hand and shoving it in his mouth.
"Happy-fucking-birthday~"
