Rain (EXO Chanyeol x Baekhyun)

...- I'm slightly uncomfortable on this couch... BUT it's okay since I at least have somewhere to sleep. And I have a cute new friend... Did I just- I think he is though... -...

Chanyeol was looking up at the ceiling smiling like a dork, as he rolled over and covered his face. "He's so cute... AaaHH..." Baekhyun turned around and squatted down. Okay... He... I- Why is my heart beating so fast?! Baekhyun put his hand on his chest trying to calm himself down. "Huh? Baekhyun?" Chanyeol was now sitting up and looked over, "Are you alright?? What're you doing?" Baekhyun quickly stood up with the blankets, " Ah nothing, I was coming to give you blankets..." He forced a small smile not realizing his ears were burning up. Chanyeol stood up, and walked over, "Oh, alright, thank you, I was fine though, go on back to-" Baekhyun stopped him, "Just come... Sleep in my bed, the couch doesn't look comfortable for someone, in general, to sleep on." Chanyeol tried to stop his face from lighting up but couldn't, so he turned around to grab his phone, and clear his throat. I did just ask him to indirectly sleep with me... Didn't I? Baekhyun shook his head and walked back into his room putting the blankets back. Chanyeol followed closely behind, "Thank you, ah, I feel like I've been a burden, I'm sorry." He sighed and walked over to the bed. "No, no it's nice having you here, and I'm doing the least to show my gratitude for you stepping out of your way to help me, so don't feel like that please." Baekhyun smiled and Chanyeol smiled back, "You don't need to feel in debt at all, I'm just happy I was able to help... But enough chatting... You need sleep."

-The night passed as the two of them slept peacefully. The time was now 7:32.-

Chanyeol woke up first to see Baekhyun "sleeping cutely." I keep saying he's cute... Stop it... He quietly stood up making sure he wouldn't wake him. Then went out into the kitchen and stretches. "Hmm..." He looked in the cabinets for coffee or tea and found some instant coffee. He boiled water and also started to cook rice, and an omelette. A few minutes later Baekhyun walked out stretching and yawning, "Mmm..." He was almost half asleep and only up for the food. Chanyeol turned around to see him rubbing his eyes, "Coffee or tea?" Chanyeol asked, "Coffee please.." Baekhyun sat down and rested his head on his hand trying to wake up. "Wait... I should be making breakfast..." Chanyeol shook his head, "It's perfectly fine, I'm almost done anyway, just stay put." He poured out some of the coffee mix into two mugs, then filled them with water and stirred them. He dished the rice and omelettes, garnished them with green onion and a few slices of beef. Baekhyun stood up and grabbed the bowls setting them at the table and Chanyeol brought the coffee. "Thank you." Baekhyun said and smiled at Chanyeol before eating. "Thank you too." They both began eating and had their small talk.

-The time was now 8:21.-

       "Breakfast was good! Thank you aha." Baekhyun smiled and stood up, starting to clean up. "Of course." Chanyeol cleared his throat, "I have to go out soon for work... I'll bring back your clothes when I can, that's alright right?" He stood up to look at Baekhyun. "Oh keep them, I don't wear those very much anyway." He kept a smile on his face, but he really didn't want Chanyeol to leave, he liked having someone who helped him forget his worries and made him smile. "Alright, thank you! I need to leave now... Thank you so much for everything, you can call me if you need anything, I'll most likely be able to help." Baekhyun nodded, "Don't I need-" Chanyeol shook his head, "Look after I leave." He walked over and hugged Baekhyun. "Be careful... Don't go wandering into the street again, okay?" Baekhyun was taken back by the hug and just nodded his head again. "You be ... Safe too." Chanyeol quickly let go, "Aha... Sorry I'll go now...!" He awkwardly smiled as he put on his shoes and waved goodbye. "I'll see you when I'm available...!" Baekhyun waved back and waited until he left as he squatted down and put his hands over his face. "W-why does he keep doing things to make my heart flutter?! I can't handle him doing this... We just met and he already makes me feel like this?"

       Chanyeol hurried down the stairs as he put in his earbuds and listened to Coldplay's Hypnotised and tried to distract himself from the loud beating of his heart. The chorus began, "Now I'm hyp, hypnotised
Yeah I trip, when I look in your eyes
Oh I'm hyp, hypnotized
Yeah I slip and I'm mesmerized..." He realized he might've fallen for the man he just met last night... But he knew he couldn't act on this anytime soon of course, he would have to make sure to get his feelings and head straight and so would Baekhyun. Chanyeol started walking, somehow he felt the area was familiar... But he didn't know how he knew this area, then he stopped an turned around. "Wait..." He realized... This was the place he had gone to have a gathering with friends... The night flashed back in his head, he was there to have a small party with his friend Soyoung. She said there'd be three other people, one more couple, and her boyfriend... His phone rang, Baekhyun ✨ was calling. "Oh my God...... Baekhyun... Was her boyfriend..."

WhOooaa who knew. No but, I decided, well heck there should be more of a backstory so that it makes more sense for Chanyeol to have fallen in love with Baekhyun for the ... "first" time after only meeting him. ALSO OHMYGOD KOKOBOP . Y'all the kings are going to be back on Monday I'm so excited :'') I already preordered my albums too so hHH !!!!
