He looks so stressed... I never asked what his job was... I hope he's not overworking himself... He thought to himself as he texted back a few minutes later,
Don't worry Yeol, I'll wait. Just don't be overworking yourself okay?? I'm worried you are... I'll be making sure you're resting enough this weekend!!! Come back safely.. <3

He didn't worry about Chanyeol reading it then and there, clearly he was working. Baekhyun sat and looked at the photo Chanyeol sent and frowned at him. "You look so exhausted... What're you doing to end up like this...?" He held his phone to his chest and started humming a tune as he dozed off. Before he knew it... Two and a half hours passed by and his apartment was now quite dark. He picked up his phone and saw the words "Five missed calls from Chanyeol" Baekhyun quickly unlocked his phone and called Chanyeol, not looking at the text messages. But when he called all the words said were, The number you're trying to reach is unavailable... Baekhyun checked to see if he left a voicemail... He did. "Sorry I called so many times haha, I wanted to hear your voice right now... But I'm guessing you're busy or sleeping. Which is perfectly okay.. I'm also sorry to say I won't be there for another hour.. it's about 19:20 now, I'm sorry ahh... I hope you're asleep right now. Go lay in bed.. I'll be there soon to keep the other half of the bed warm soon." Baekhyun felt relieved after knowing he was okay, he was now smiling at the thought of Chanyeol.. He always loved to hear his voice, it was so calming and melted his heart. He wanted to see that smile he loved.. but also to see his adorable giant resting well and not so stressed.
Chanyeol had gotten caught up in one of those nights where he couldn't stop composing, one because he wanted to and two he needed to release something. Plus, he was working on a song for Baekhyun... He looked down at his watch after it seemed like only about twenty minutes since he had called Baekhyun. But, apparently not, it was now 19:52 and he sighed. "I'll finish the instrumentals... And then do lyrics on Sunday.. then I'll be okay." He nodded to reassure himself as he tilted his head and grinned, as he started to work again... Now another twenty or so minutes passed and he began to finish the instrumentals for the song and yawned. Then looking down at his watch, relieved he'd finished that part of the song he felt good and quickly started packing his things to leave. He grabbed his phone to see if Baekhyun had called or texted him and, indeed he did. One new message from Baekhyun ✨ Chanyeol's face lit up as he opened his phone and read the text. "Oh what... Why didn't I read this.. I called him after this..." He hit the back of his neck gently and read the message as he turned off and left his studio. "Ugh... He's so cute... Makes me forget about how tired and stressed I am..." He smiled as he played the song he was working on, "안아줘". It was a soft and peaceful song that he'd finish writing the lyrics to after meeting Baekhyun. Chanyeol was now in a taxi almost to Baekhyun's apartment. He was glad to be able to see Baekhyun again and be able to spend a lot more time with him this weekend...
The time was now 20:34 and Chanyeol was trying not to fall asleep in the taxi, and thankfully he didn't because he arrived. He thanked the driver, paid him and got out making sure to not forget his guitar and bags. "Baek~ I'm home." He said to himself as he walked up to Baekhyun's apartment. He remembered to get a key for times such as this, Chanyeol opened the door and quietly came in. It smelled sweet, he assumed Baekhyun had bought some pastry or something. Chanyeol set his things down and went to turn on a light as he felt arms wrap around him. "My giant is back from his long days at work... I missed you..." Baekhyun pouted a little and rested his head on Chanyeol's back. Chanyeol smiled, and turned around and hugged Baekhyun back, kissing his cheek. "I missed you too... I'll spend as much time next to you as I can this weekend. I promise I'll be less busy next week..." Baekhyun smiled back and nuzzled his head into Chanyeol's neck, "Don't worry... Work is work don't stress about other things that much either... And come to bed now..." Chanyeol lifted Baekhyun up, bridal style after they had loosened their hug, "My handsome prince charming~" Baekhyun said as he slightly smirked after Chanyeol picked him up. "And my adorable prince..." Chanyeol walked into the bedroom and set Baekhyun down, but before he got too far Baekhyun pulled him down over top of him, "Just a-" Chanyeol didn't let Baekhyun finish as he deeply kissed Baekhyun. Baekhyun kissed back just as passionately , and wrapped his arms around Chanyeol's neck and broke the kiss then looking at Chanyeol, who's eyes were full of lust but also had a soft gaze. "You're.. don't look at me like that ohmygod-... If you look at me like that... You know what.. Gosh..." Chanyeol smirked, "Woops... You made the first move... Kidding... I wasn't planning to go that far... That's a bit much... But I missed sharing a kiss that good..." He trailed off as he shrugged and kissed Baekhyun again and this time lighter.. Baekhyun broke the kiss after a moment and simply looked at Chanyeol. He cupped his cheek and just admired him. "You're so handsome... In every way possible... My gosh..." Chanyeol looked to the side and grinned, this is where his ego came in, he was always so confident but this side, he didn't want to show this side of him right now. "But you're even more handsome~" he said to Baekhyun, "So irresistible.." They simply stared at each other for a moment. Chanyeol broke this as he sighed and dropped next to Baekhyun "Cuddling and falling asleep sounds nice doesn't it..." Baekhyun nodded eagerly, "For sure..." Chanyeol pulled the covers over the both of them. Baekhyun put his arms around Chanyeol's waist and Chanyeol simply embraced Baekhyun. Baekhyun felt the security and safety of Chanyeol's warm embrace again, he loved the feeling of Chanyeol holding him like this... Even though it is just a hug, he felt so secure and content in his arms and wished they could "stay like this forever". Baekhyun smiled and said, "I love you..." Chanyeol kissed Baekhyun's forehead and replied softly, "I love you too."
