Chapter 4

This will be very short, but I wanted to post something tonight, and Wattpad deleted the whole chapter right before it uploaded! Grr.

~Lydia's POV~

I texted Drew and asked about a convenient time to go shopping today. Then, I had to text Ally to let her know when she needed to come back from her boyfriend, Matt's, house. We decided it'd be best for us to go around 3:00 pm.

Though our run was cut short today, I was awfully tired from the little bit of running I did. Thunder came to my feet whining and lies his head on my knee.

"What is it boy? You wanna go outside? C'mon!" I said in a high-pitched cheery voice. He bounced around, crossing my path back and forth as we headed to the door.

I opened the door to reveal Drew with her fist in the air, preparing to knock on the door, and the young girl, Kaci, that is under her watch for the day. That's why he was whining.

"Wow... You really are a sidekick!" I laugh at her silliness along with Kaci giggling.

"I really had no idea you would be here early. You should've texted me so I could tell Allyson.", I griped in a whiny tone like a small child.

"Well, sorry, and way ahead of ya. She's on her way.", she commented dragging out the "sorry", "What're you waiting on? Get dressed!"

I left Drew and Kaci standing at the door to help themselves in and climbed up the stairs. I turned my wand on and began to curl my hair. After, I put on a little bit of makeup so I didn't look dead.

I threw on some white high-waisted shorts and a strapless floral top. Grabbing my white sandals, phone, keys, and purse, I walked downstairs. Drew had already helped herself to my refrigerator and pantry, which isn't surprising.

"Find what you were looking for?", I asked startling her.

"Yes actually.", she responded coming out from behind the pantry door with Goldfish falling out from her mouth when she grinned. She held my last can of Dr. Pepper.

"I hope you don't think you're-", I'm cut off by the tab of the can popping open and her slurping down half the can like a camel.

"Can we leave now?", I ask the two of them.

They respond my nodding and walking out to the truck. We climbed in and buckled in. The truck roared to life, with my assistance, and i think the radio may have bust all of our eardrums, except Kaci's. I quickly turn it down, causing her to frown.

"I liked that song.", she pouted. Feeling bad for her, I turned it up slightly, loud enough to hear it soft enough to hear yourself think. She seemed to be satisfied as she watches out if the window and bobs her head to the music.

I pulled into North Park Mall's parking lot and began the hunt for a parking space. Just as I thought all hope for a close parking spot was lost, I spotted a car pulling out of a space next to an Audi R8 Coupe . You'll never guess who's car it is and what tour bus is parked next to that.
