Bandages

I rapped a bandage over my arm and looked at the glass on the floor with blood on it.

There isn't one day that goes by when I have to lie. I'm tired....Need Water.... I sighed as I grabbed my extra water stash in my bag and took a sip of the water I had.

"Eliza, where are we?" Luci asked.

I ruffled her dark black hair,"I don't know cous. I wish Uncle Shawn was here to help us out. Ugh what am talking about. He won't help us. He's the ruler of Hell of course.."

We quickly heard a explosion from our already ruined town. Last time I saw no one survived the muderous massacre where our enimies attacked our village. I remember hiding away with Luci in a closet and seeing dead bodies everywhere when they left.

I'm Elizabeth Doranite, and this is my cousin Lucifer Black. We were only 10 years old when the attack happened, its been 4 years now. I was only a few months older than Luci, which meant I was 14 and she was still 13. She had black hair with hazel eyes, a small and short appearence. I was only a few inches above her, light blue hair with orange eyes. But instead of her, I was covered in bandages and bruises. I was in bad health, only because I didn't want little Luci getting hurt.

It was only us two against the world, it'd be better if the oldest one died first. At least that's what I had thought. I grabbed Luci's hand and walked her towards the direction of the explosion, my legs barely making it all the way. They were weak but I knew Luci wasn't strong enough to carry me. Despite her father's reputation, she was generally a kind hearted person, honest,loyal, a bit guliable, and...not strong physically. Besides, I didn't want to worry her.

I looked around until I felt a hand covering my mouth. "Sh sh kid...Your safe now. " An older voice replied.

I looked up to see a older man with weapons, holding me and Luci. "Leave me alone! Leave us alone!" Luci cried.

"Kid its okay. We aren't the enemy. We'll get you two to safety, don't worry."

Something in me made me trust the guy, but just incase I signaled Luci that if something goes wrong to kick him like I taught her while I throw a dagger at him. It was our emergency plan incase we saw something fishy going on. He carried us over to his car-looked sorta old-and sat us in the back seats. It had been awhile since Luci and I had traveled by vehicle, I was surprised they weren't all destroyed already. We arrived at a forest and saw what looked like cavern,"Roxanna fix these two up. " The man yelled.

A young girl with maroon hair and dark chocolate eyes came up to us with nurse supplies. She gasped when she saw my appearance,"Oh my you have a lot of injuries. " She said.

I didn't say anything. Neither did Luci. We didn't speak, in fear we would bluntly give out our personal information. "Hailey! Can you bring me the aloe cream and the cleaning alcohol?" Roxanna asked.

An orange haired girl around Roxanna's age gave her a green cream and alcohol. Roxanna took out bandages and prepared the stuff. "First you two need a bath. I'll go prepare it. You'll have to share it though, we're running low on supplies. "

The two walked off to prepare the bath as Luci and I sighed dreamily when we smelled strawberry scented shampoo. Its been so long since we tooken a proper shower, usually when we shower we just shower in a salty lake or something. Luci smiled when they came back with towels and lead us to the bathroom. "Whoa you two are ridiculously skinny..." Hailey pointed out.

"What do you expect Hailey?! The poor girls had to survive on water and little food!" Roxanna smacked Haliey's head.

"Ow..."
