Falling For You (D.Gray-Man Lenalee x OC)

Chp.2 First Mission Part One

~Kitsune~

She slowly open her tired eyes. She rolled over to her back then she sat up. Her black hair dropping down in front of her face. Her hair ended at her shoulder level. She had short layers in her hair. She ran her hand through her hair, combing it to get the snarls out of her hair. She groan as she put her hand on her face underneath her bangs. She sighed bringing her hand down on her lap. Her gaze landed on Zero still in his big form with his head on his paws looking up at her. This was her fifth day at the Black Order. All she's been doing is training in the forest alone but when it was getting late, Lenalee would come and get her. Each day, they got closer to each other. She would also help Lenalee in doing some errands for Komui when she was bored. But this time, she wanted to do something different.

"You ready to start our day, Zero?" She asked him and he stood up and stretch his body.

She swung her legs over the edge of her bed. She look at her window that the blinds covered. She stood up and walked towards it. She grab one of the blind and lift it to looked out. The sun was out and she could tell it was almost noon. She didn't know that she slept that long. She let go of the blind, letting it fall back to where it was before. She walked over to where she put her uniform. She grabbed her uniform and enter the bathroom. She strip down and turned on the shower.

Few minutes later she came out of the shower. She dry her body off and put on her regular clothes. She put on her jacket as she exited out of the bathroom. She put her hair up in it's usual bun. She walk over to her bed and put her boots on, once she was done she put her Mugestu at her waist. She looked over at Zero.

"Ready Zero?" She asked him then he jumped onto her right shoulder.

She walk towards the door and exit out of her room. She headed towards the cafeteria. She felt her stomach grumble a little. She rub her stomach as she walked down the hallway. She open the door that enter into the cafeteria. This was the first time she was eating in the cafeteria because it slipped from her mind and she just forgot to eat. She saw many people that wore those grey uniforms. She saw a few exorcist but she paid no mind and headed towards Jerry.

"Ah! What would this lovely lady like to eat? Name anything and I'll make it!" He said with a wide smile on his face.

"It's Kitsune," She mumble. "I'll have soba..."

"Coming right up!" He said as he turn around but Kitsune stop him.

"Umm, can you also make this if you have all the ingredients. It's for my fox, Zero." She said motioning towards Zero as she handed him a slip of paper. He grab it and looked at it then he smile at her as he move his gaze towards Zero.

"Yes can do! Your order will be right up!" He said as he turned around getting hers and Zeros food ready.

A few minutes later Jerry came out with her soba and Zeros food. She grab her tray while mumbling a thank you towards Jerry. She turned around, looking for a free spot. She then notice that Kanda was sitting alone so she decided to sit across from him. She walked towards him dodging people on her way over to him. She got to his table and she sat down across from him. She grab Zero and set him on the table, grabbing a small bowl that had his food in it and put it in front of him. Zero started eating his food. Kanda notice that she was in front of him.

"Hope you don't mind me sitting here with you." She said as she started eating her soba.

Kanda just grumble and kept eating his soba. She notice that he loved soba noodles too. She always ate soba it was her favorite meal. They sat there in silence as they ate their soba. Minutes went by and she was almost done eating. She looked over at his katana. She figured out that it was his innocence and she wanted to see his skills with his katana. She wanted to test out his skills.
