Previously: you rejected Ethan again so he hit you really bad and now your still in hospital. Grayson's birthday is today.

You wake up to the sound of the alarm clock you had put in your phone. It's 8 o'clock... he should be here any minute.
*knock knock*
Okay .... you can do this...
M:" Come in !" Grayson enters the room with a bunch of flowers in his hands. Then he sees you.
G:"OMG Marina ! Why are you standing without your crutches ?!"
M:" Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Grayson, happy birthday to you ...." you sing quiet because you can't do it louder, but then you stumble a bit backwards. Grayson drops the flowers immediately and runs over to you, just to catch you the moment you were about to fall.
G:"The doctor said you needed to rest ... but thanks for the surprise." He lays you down on your bed and lays right next to you. You snuggle your head into his chest and fall asleep.
When you wake up and look at the clock it's already 3:00 pm. Damn, this medicine makes you tired. Grayson isn't there anymore but the flowers he brought are standing at the night table next to your bed in a vase. You check your phone and open a text message from Grayson:
" Sorry baby if I had to leave early, but I have an important meeting that I can't miss."
You close your phone again, stand up with the crutches the hospital gave you and walk to the canteen. There are about twenty people in this room, sitting at different tables in little groups. You see a girl around your age, sitting at a table alone. You walk over to her and sit down.
M:" Hey, I'm Marina. Can I sit down?"
S:" Yeah, sure. I'm Samantha. I'm 16 and you?"
M:" Me too." She starts smiling and looks at you.
S:" Oh, you don't look good. What have you done?"
M:" I rejected someone because I'm in a relationship with his brother, he flipped out and beat me."
S:" Oh, I'm so sorry for you."
M:" It's okay, but what about you? Why are you in hospital?"
S:" I had bulimia and now I need to do a rehab to learn how to eat normal again. Till now it's a success."
M:"Could you get me a snack or something because I can't carry anything when I'm walking around with my crutches."
S:" Yes, of course! What do you want?"
M:" A slice of Pizza. Could you also bring it to my room afterwards?"n
S:" Yeah. Wait for me here and I'll get your pizza."
After she comes back with the pizza you stand up and walk to your room with her. You sit down at a table in a corner of your room. After you finished your pizza you start to talk a bit.
S:"You gotta tell me one thing ... you reacted totally fine about me having bulimia and didn't turn it into a lecture like: "ah that's what social media does to you girls" or "why don't you just eat, it can't be that difficult ". Why? "
M:"A good friend of mine also had anorexia really bad and she often talked to me about it and how she feels. I can understand your struggle."
S:"I need to go now bit I'll come back tomorrow, okay?" She stands up from her chair.
M:" Yeah sure ." You both smile and she leaves.
*ding*
You check your phone and it's a text from ... Ethan?
E:"Hey... I'm sorry for what I've done but I just wanted to tell you that I caught Grayson cheating on you because I was wondering why he wasn't with you. He probably told you he has an important meeting or something like that. I know you wont believe me so I added a picture of them .... I also wanted to know your room number because I'm going to visit you tomorrow. 😊" you just sat there confused and opened the picture that he sent with the message.
It showed Grayson kissing another girl in your living room ...
Tomorrow was your birthday...
How could he do this?
You sent Ethan your room number and hopped over to your bed, then you fell asleep.

-the next day-

You woke up because someone had pushed the curtains away and the sun shone right in your face.
You opened one eye to see somebody standing at the opened window. After sitting down and letting out a big yawn the person standing at the window turns around .... it's Ethan!
E:"Sorry, I hope I didn't wake you up." He walks over to you and gives you a bunch of flowers.
M:"Woah thanks."
E:" Happy birthday. I didn't forget it. And may I add, there is another present on the other side of the bed."  You looked over and realized a big carton ,as high as your bed, that was standing right next to it.
You started to unpack it and put it outside the box.
It was a huge teddy bear as big as you.
M:"Omg, thanks Ethan." You turned back to him with a huge smile on your face and hugged him. When you end the hug Ethan smiled too.
E:"I'm so happy you like it. What do you want for breakfast ? I can get you something from the canteen ."
M:" I want pancakes so bad... But afterwards you need to tell me everything about Grayson and this guy!"
E:" Your wish is my command..." Then he walks out.
A few minutes later Samantha comes in. She looks really confused.
S:" Was the sexy guy from the hallway just coming out of your room?!"
M:" Yeah thats Ethan... he's a friend of mine ."
S:" I guess these gifts are from him. But I just wanted to wish you happy birthday. That's for you."
M:" Oh that's my favorite. But you didn't need to get me chocolate."
S:" You told me last time which one you like best so I thought it would be a nice idea.  I'm sorry but I can't spend more time with you because I have an important appointment in ten minutes. S e ya later."
Then she leaves and Ethan comes back in with a tray with two plates with pancakes! He sits down next to you, hands you over your plate and starts talking about Grayson.
E:"Well, I caught him yesterday with another girl kissing in our living room. He was super mad and told me I shouldn't tell you about it. I think he even forgot your birthday and probably wont come today. So I thought it would be nice to tell you he's cheating and to come and talk to you. I really needed to see you ...."
M:"Thanks to let me know but I'm gonna meet my friend now. See ya." You hug him goodbye and he leaves.
*bing*
It's Grayson...
G:"Sorry but I don't have any time today. Just wanted to tell you so you wouldn't have to wait for me. Ly."

He forgot your birthday.......

You start typing. Upset by Grayson and everything he does and did.
M:"I need to talk to you... personal"
G:"I already told you I have no time for you today. I'm busy."
M:"Busy cheating?"
G:"What? Are you crazy ?"
M:"This is why I wanted to talk to you in person but it looks like I'm not important enough."
~Grayson is typing~
You were faster and you couldn't hold it anymore.
M:"I'm not worth it, right?"
All the frustration and anger came out, all at once.
M:"You forgot my birthday! You couldn't even take your time to come to the hospital not even just to visit, you're busy.😒 Even Ethan remembered it! He visited me and apologized for what he did! He even got me a present. He told me you cheated ! He showed me a photo of you with another girl !
I HATE YOU ! Please leave me alone. I'm breaking up with you because I don't trust you anymore and I wont be together with a man who cheated on his gf the time she's in hospital and injured. The time she needed him and his support the most. I just think it's sad how this turned out.. I'm sorry."
