Second chance

Previously: you broke up with Grayson because he probably cheated on you and forgot your birthday

Grayson pov:
She did not just.... fuck! I am sooooooo dumb. Ethan is going to regret this. How could he tell her! I didn't even cheat! You know what? I'm calling Becky(the girl on the photo) right now. She can tell Marina that I'm not cheating on her.
I leave all the stuff on the table and stand up to call her.
B:" Becky Millers here, who's this?"
G:" It's Grayson. It's important."
B:" What do you want?"
G:" My girlfriend just broke up with me because Ethan took a photo of us yesterday when he dared you to kiss me and now she thinks I'm cheating on her. She's still in hospital because she rejected Ethan, he flipped out and beat her up. "
B:" And what do I have to do with it?"
G:" Ethan still loves her and wants to turn her against me. You need to come with me to the hospital and tell her I'm not cheating. Please."
B:" Ok, when?"
G:" I'm gonna get you in 10 minutes and by the way it's her birthday today."

Marina pov:
Uh, I hate myself so much for doing this! I'm regretting it every fucking second.
I start crying and all of the sudden I pull all the cables away from my wrist. An alarm starts and it hurts a bit but I don't care anymore. A try to stand up but immediately fall down because I forgot I needed the crutches to stand.
A few seconds later a nurse runs into my room and knees down to me.
N:" Are you okay? What happened?"
M:" I just fell out of bed, that's all." She helps you back up and puts the cables back.
N:" Do you need anything else?"
M:" No I'm fine, thanks."
She leaves and a minute later Samantha comes in.
M:" Hey Sammy."
S:" Hey emo, what were you trying to do ? Killing yourself?"
M:" Shut up I'll tell you later but now I need to rest, I'm tired."
S:" Then I'll let you sleep, bye. But you'll have to tell me tomorrow because I'm meeting my family today, like I told you."
She leaves.

-10 minutes later-

I was laying in bed, when I heard a knock at the door. Who could this be? Grayson said he was busy, Ethan was there before and Samantha told me she would see her family for the first time after a couple of months.
M:" Come in !"
A girl entered my room but I didn't know her. Wait... I've seen her face before but I don't know where.

B:" Hey ."
M:" Hey? Who are you?"
B:" I'm Becky. "
M:" Do I know you?"
B:" Probably from the photo when I kissed Grayson."
M:" Oh, that was you. Understandable."
B:" No. I know what you're thinking and you're completely wrong. I'm not Grayson's new girlfriend or side chic or however you want to call it."
M:" So, who are you then?"
B:" I'm a friend of Ethan."
M:" And why are you kissing Grayson then ?"
B:" I played 'truth or dare' with Ethan and he dared me to kiss Grayson. He didn't tell me he had a girlfriend and Grayson just told me today that Ethan took a photo and told you Grayson cheated. I didn't know he took a picture. "
M:" Wait, so that means he isn't cheating?"
B:" Exactly!"
M:" Fuck! I need to call him right now!"
G:" No you don't. I'm right here so you can tell me in person."
M:" Whow, how long have you been standing there?"
G:" Since Becky entered your room ."
M:" Sorry."
G:" For what ?"
M:" For misunderstanding and breaking up with you."
G:" It's my fault. I should have been the first one to be here at your birthday. Want me back?"

G:" Now come here!"

He walks over to your bed and picks you up. You peck his lips and look in his eyes. He puts you down again, grabs in the pocket of his trousers and takes out a small carton. He gives it to you.

G:" It's for you. Happy birthday."
M:" Thanks."

You open the package and look inside the box. It's a necklace with red diamonds in it.

M:" Omg, it's soo cute."
G:" Shall I help you put it on ?"
M:" Yes, please ."
G:" Here you go. You look stunning."
M:" Stop! Your making me blush."
B:" I'll go home now and give you some privacy. Bye!"
M:" Bye!"
G:" See ya !"

She leaves. Grayson walks to the side of your bed, looks at you and crawls in. You snuggle your head into his chest and he puts his arms around you.

G:" I'm sorry for letting work getting more important for me than you. "
M:" It's okay."

He kisses your forehead and you start talking about your day. You tell him everything about Ethan and what happened later. After that you fall asleep cuddling.

-the next day-

When you wake up Grayson is still next to you. He's awake and looks at you.

G:" You're so cute when you're sleeping."
M:" I missed waking up next to you."

You peck his lips. He just smiles at you.

G:" Do you think the nurses will let me take you out for breakfast?"
M:" Maybe. When you put your cute face on..."
G;" I think they will. While I try to convince them you'll get ready ok?"
M:" Yeah."

He leaves and you take the crutches to walk over to your closet. You take some blue boyfriend jeans, a white blouse and some white converse. You put everything on and Grayson comes back.

G:" They said yes!"
M:" Perfect."
G:" Wait, let me help you."

He picks you up on his back, grabs your crutches and carries you to the elevator. There you meet Samantha.

M:" Hey Sammy!"
S:" Oh hey girl! Didn't see you up there. Isn't that the boy from yesterday?"
M:" Nah that's his twin brother and my boyfriend."
S:" Oh okay. Nice choice. Where you going?"
M:" Just getting breakfast. See ya."
S:" Bye girl."

You take the elevator down and Grayson carries you to his car. You're sitting in the passengers seat and he hops in the drivers seat. He looks at you and starts smiling. He looks really happy.

M:" Why are you smiling like that?"
G:" Because you look gorgeous. And because I missed you so much."
M:" Aw, come here ."

You start kissing him passionately and it turns into a make out session. You turn yourself over and sit on his lap. You look in his eyes.

M:" Ever had car sex?" You bite your lip.
G:" Everything has a first time." He licks his lips.
