Your POV
I walk down the halls of the hellish school tiredly as I approach the room where I had to sit my detention , I had detentions quite often for either being late or homework . It was the first day of year 10 as my school started the New Years timetable early so we can adjust to it and I had a fricken detention great way to start of the year I know .
I walk in the silent room and sit in the back corner ; the room was quite empty so I had the luck of choosing where to sit . A few minutes later of agonising silence a young boy walks in this point the room full except for the seat next to me , the boy looks to be around my age but I hadn't seen him before he must be a new student I thought to myself .
He scanned the room before spotting the bare seat next to me , he walks over and sits right beside me . He had dark brown hair and chocolate eyes , I found myself staring at his beauty I quickly realised and went back to my equations . Every now and then I glanced over to him only to be met in awkward eye contact as he must of been staring at me , probably wondering how someone could be this ugly I thought to myself .
Dans POV
My second day and I already have a detention " great going Dan " I say to myself internally face palming . I walk into the detention room awkwardly scanning for a seat . I glance over to see the only spare seat next to it a really pretty girl she looked about my age . I go to sit down and start my equations a few minutes in I glance over to see her staring . She's probably thinking how awkward or stupid I look .
I tried to divert my attention from her to my equations but she's just too god damn beautiful I couldn't help me self but gaze into her porcelain complexion that went beautifully with her e/c eyes . Her h/c hair falling perfectly over her shoulders . She glances over at me and we made awkward eye contact I quickly divert my eyes back to my equations internally screaming .
Your POV
When the detention had finished I plucked up all my courage and introduced myself to the handsome boy . " hi I'm y/n " i said to him holding out my hand for him to shake it . " I'm Dan " he said back shaking my hand .
" so are you new here " I asked him . " yeah it's only my second day and I'm already in here " he said clearly frustrated with himself . " don't worry bout it they're hella strict here they'll give you a detention for blinking when your not supposed to " i said while laughing , he laughed to .
" so where you live ?" He asked me as we walk out the gates . " just down here " I said pointing down a long street . " omg same " he said in an excited tone . " wanna walk with me ?" I suggested hesitantly out of anxiety . " of corse " he said back very quickly . I also gave him my phone number and all my social media as he did me .
We approach my house as he says before I can " I live just there " he said pointing to the house next to mine . " no way I live right there ." I said pointing towards my house . " hey do you wanna maybe hang out later " he asked I was in disbelief . " of corse just text me whenever " I say flashing him a smile before walking into my house .
