Chapter 2 - Secrets

"I live right here" You smiled and stood in front of the door to the big building. "Ok then" the stranger placed the groceries in front of you and stood there looking at you as he reached out his hand, "Erwin Smith" his eyes were gentle and you could now make out his face. His high cheek bones was exposed perfectly at his porcelain skin. You reached your hand out for his and shook it gently "Y/N L/N". He smiled a gentle smile as he heard your name"Nice to meet you Y/N". "Maybe, you want to join inside? Like, I crashed into you and then you helped me carry this.. I owe you at least a cup of coffee or something" You smiled and unlocked the front door into your house. Erwin chuckled at your question "Sure, that sounds great" he smiled and picked up the bags once again.

Once you had gotten into the kitchen you looked over at Erwin, "Jeez... Your house is so nice" he laughed as he entered into the kitchen. You laughed and walked over to the coffee machine and turned it on, then you walked over to him. "You know... Thank you for taking the time and effort to help me" You grabbed the bags and walked over to the counter. You packed out the groceries and started placing it in it's right places.

"You... got a really nice house" You heard the mans voice say as you turned around. He stood there scratching the back of his neck. "thank you" you smiled as the coffee machine started alerting. You walked over to the counter to get two cups. You stood there and looked out of the window, it had started raining. Then you poured the coffee. As you gave him the cup you looked at his eyes, they had no emotions in them... You could usually tell really well from a person what him or her felt... But Erwin you could not read him at all. "weird..." You thought... "hmm?" Erwin looked at you with a half crocked smile... Can he read your thoughts? He still looked at you, "What?" You asked with a slight blush, his deep voice southed your ears "You said weird..." Your eyes flustered open. Maybe you said it out loud... You gave him a awkward smile "nothing", Erwin gave you a small smile as he took a sip of his cup. "You are cute when you blush" He smiled at you as he placed his cup down at the counter beside him. You looked down at your cup, you heard him chuckle as you saw his legs in front of you.

Erwin laid his hands under your chin and brought your face up, you looked into his eyes. You felt a tingly feeling in your belly as you looked into his ice blue eyes. "Are you ok? You're hot" He still looked at you with the same eyes as before. "thank you, but I'm ok" You smiled and blushed even more. "I mean that you are varm" His eyes were locked at you, no emotions. He hummed in response, "this might sound weird... but it feels like I have known you forever" You smiled as he brought his face closer to yours and whispered "I have been paying attention to you through your whole life after all". You looked at him confused, "what do you mean with that?" You suddenly felt very uncomfortable. "nothing" He chuckled as he stepped back and let go of your face. "Jeez Erwin!" You forced a laugh. Was he just joking with you? You didn't want to find out... You looked at the clock 11.47 PM... "Jesus it's late" You yawned and looked at Erwin. He was clenching his fist "What did you say?"

His voice was aggressive and the energy in the room changed completely. "I said it was late" You looked at him a little scared. He changed to a 'do not give a damn'face. "So you want me to leave?" He looked at you and sighted. you looked down at your hands "Well... I have to get up early tomorrow" You didn't really have to, but you wanted him to leave since his sudden change in attitude made you feel scared and Uncomfortable. "You are lying" Erwin looked at you with a soft smile. How could he know? "How would you know?" He moved closer to you and took you into an embrace. As he did the energy in the room changed back to a comfortable energy."look, I didn't want to scare you. And I'm sorry if I did" You felt your body go weak. You then leaned into his chest and smelled his cologne. He smelled so good. Not long after he leaned back. "I will leave" He walked over to the hallway and took his shoes on. You looked out the window again and saw that it was pouring down. "Erwin!" You walked over to him, you wanted him to stay longer. "You know... You could stay the night... after all, it's raining pretty bad outside" You smiled as he looked at you. "you sure? You didn't seem to comfy with me a moment ago..." He looked sort of confused as he held his jacket. Thank god! Finally an expression on his face! "Yes of course! I'm that way when people is getting irritated around me..." You laughed. He smiled at you as he hanged up his jacket and took of his shoes. "ok then" his smile was warm and man was he hot. You both walked into your living room.

You sat down at the couch and gestured him to sit down next to you, Erwin came over and sat down right next to you. "So.. You like watching tv, Erwin?", you smiled over at him. He looked confused at you, "yeah of course" he smiled. You grabbed the remote and turned on the big screen you had on your wall. "anything you want to watch?" You swapped through the different channels, "I don't know exactly, I like mostly everything" He laughed and leaned back in the seat. You stopped at the film channel and placed the remote at the table. "then we will just watch this channel.." You sat back and leaned your back against the soft the pillow. You felt something hard against your neck and turned around to see what it was. Erwin had laid his hand behind you, as you looked at him he was looking at you "You are a really interesting human" He smiled. Again with this weird shit.... "What? Aren't you human then?" You giggled, he hummed in response as he looked over at the tv. "Hey! What does that mean?!" You sat up and leaned over to him "You are so weird!" You pouted. He turned over to you and grabbed your hand "Look! I need to tell you something. But if I tell you this... you will hate me and be scared or even terrified of me!" His eyes suddenly changed, they were full of fear... "I promise not to hate you or be mad at you. Just tell me Erwin" You grabbed his hand with your free hand and caressed it. "You can never tell anyone, and never leave me..."
