Crystal’s POV
“bye mum don’t worry I’ll be good”
I run up the hall and board my plane I was going to like with my big brother Sebastian. I came from a simple family dad left with my older brother when I was about 1 and I only recently meet my brother I was surprised when he suggested living with him after IT happened.
“crystal over here come on I don’t have all day”
Seb shouts as I stumble with my bag to the car
“sorry Seb long time no see bro how's things?”
I say hopping in the car
“good better now your safe if you don’t want to talk about it its fine but I think it would be better to tell me oh and by the way my flat mate Liam will be home later on he's nice I'm sure you'll like him”
Seb turns his attention to the road.
“How far till the house?”
I ask looking out the window at London it was different from your little new Zealand home
“about 10 minutes”
he says looking at me
“ok well I’ll start at the start jerry was a good friend and I didn’t hesitate to say yes when he asked me out it wasn’t until he tried getting into me that I got worried I told him to stop and he hit me and threatened me not to tell anyone”
I pause letting this sink in
“he kept hitting me in the end mum seen the bruises and told his parents that’s when he threatened to kill me mum got scared and now I'm here with the best big brother ever”
I say looking at Seb
“if I ever meet this ass I'm going to wring his neck”
seb yells hitting the wheel
“how dare he threaten my little sis like that”
he says calming down a bit
“hey I'm safe now and that’s the main thing right?”
I ask as we pull into the drive of a big house,
“wow this is so big how many people did you say live here?”
I ask
“yes that’s the main thing and just me Liam and now you Liam has friends round a lot though their nice enough”
Seb says getting my stuff from the car I walk up to the door and open it,
“Seb this place is huge why didn’t you tell me it was this big how will I ever find my way round?”
I turn back to the house and see a boy about Seb’s age looking at me,
“hi you must be crystal Sebastian’s little sister I'm Liam I live here”
the boy (Liam) says helping me with my stuff
“I’ll show you to your room follow me”
he says leading me down the hall I look around memorising the way so I can find it later
“and this is your room”
he says opening the door it was a simple room white walls and cream carpet
“Seb says we can paint it later if you want I'm going to go make some food you want anything?”
Liam asks looking at me,
“nah I'm good”
I reply sitting on my new bed in my new room.
I walk down the hall to where I think the kitchen is I push the door and let out a sigh of relief as I see Liam and Seb at the table, it had been a week since I had moved in with my bro and Liam and I felt I was fitting in and had finally learnt my way around.
“Hey Seb look she lives”
Liam says while I grab myself a bowl of cereal I pick up the spoon
“whoa I'm sorry I didn’t mean it in a bad way”
Liam says looking at the spoon in my hands
“oh that’s right Seb told me you didn’t like spoons”
I say flashing him my best evil smile
“I'm sorry I’ll be good just please don’t hurt me”
Liam screamed Seb burst out laughing
“come on crystal be nice”
he said whilst trying not to giggle,
“ok I’ll let you live this time Liam”
I say taking a seat next to him
“hey Seb is it ok if the boys come over for a boys night?”
Liam asks looking at me a grin on his face
“sure just make sure they behave there is a lady in the house”
Seb manages to get out before he bursts into another fit of laughing this time Liam joining,
“hey not cool I am in no way a lady”
I yell punching his arm
“I’ll tell them to be good no promises though you know what their like”
Liam says walking towards his room
“what was that about?”
I ask helping Seb with the dishes,
“his friends can be a handful their cool lads though”
he says passing me a plate
“really who says lads these days”
I say shaking my head
“don’t forget you’re not in NZ anymore sis”
he says as I head for the door
“I’ll be in my room if you need me”
I say heading for my room.
“Cool yea she's cool I sure you guys will get on be here by 4 so we can get some movies or something”
I hear Liam say as I walk past the door to my room I open my laptop and decide to check Facebook nothing new a few messages saying I was missed I open the chat bar and see Lucy’s name I type in,
haeeee miss you how's life wish I was there xx
and it didn’t take long to get the reply
mum says I have to go :( but life's good jerry moved the other day not sure where glad to see the end of him miss you to :) Skype me later yea? Xx
I smile happy my friends are safe I type back
yea will do meeting Liam's friends soon bye xx
I look at the screen so much for having to move I knew mum and Seb would never let me move back and I was happy here it was a nice change I liked it.
