A/N Hey there. Thanks for clicking the book. Please continue reading lol. Just a disclaimer that the genre of this story would be comedy, romance and drama. This chapter will be more like an intro. Hope you enjoy!

skkkkkkkiiiddddddddd

That squeaky sound of the bicycle tires creating friction with the concrete ground. It was not a good sound to hear. Just like the way the board creaked with chalks.

"Hello." Calum greeted, getting off his bike.

"Hi." I replied quick, along with a smile and bringing myself to stand up from the café chair I was waiting in. I placed a $10 bill underneath the coffee cup, and picked up my packed tote bag that had all my studying material. With that, Calum and I, with his bike, walked for two blocks.

"So, what's happening today?" I asked as I was just texted half an hour ago from Calum that we were going to study someplace, but was also told to bring some clothes that were 'fancy but not too fancy'.

"We are going to study for our finals, then we're gonna go to a party." He bluntly replied.

"Who's party?"

"Ashton's."

"So it's a college party?"

"Yup." Calum replied, popping the 'p'.

"Why'd you invite me?" I asked, concerned as Calum and I were good friends but were more just study buddies. The ap classes we chose were similar; philosophy, psychology, and art. Other than that, we have different english literature and calculus, and also any classes we were suggested to take. Thus, we would hung out, usually at Calum's place, to both study and procrastinate. We would rarely hang out outside to go to an amusement park or anything, and we had the more pros than the cons as who we were.

"Okay so, long story short, the boys and I were talking about girls. You texted me at a very great time; now my friends think we are dating." Calum quickly blurted out. I raised both my eyebrow.

He quickly added, "You have a really great sense of humor, you have to understand this. Think of this as one of Friends' episode." with a smile.

I laughed out loud.

"That is a long story very short. So what, we're like gonna date this week, and do we like write and act out a screenplay for our fake breakup?" I smirked.

"Oh, thank God you are you." Calum sighed.

"Seems fun to do, I am on board."

The sound of the clock was starting to bug me. It had been 3 hours since we've started studying and an hour left to turn 7 aka party time.

"I can go change my clothes in like half an hour, right?" I ask Calum, not trying to sound as if I wanted to stop studying, but oh freaking hell I wanted to stop studying.

"You can." He chuckled.

"Should we like discuss how we're gonna do the fake couple thing?"

"Apparently stereotypical people assume a man and woman just walking together would mean they are involved romantically, so I'm pretty sure we can just hold hands and we'll be fine." Calum said, trying to sound scientific.

"Calum, I know what subjects you hate and like. I know what teachers you hate and like. I know what music you like. I kinda know a lot about anything that's study related. And somehow I know a lot about your past crushes, but. . . " I looked at his eyes to see his expression.
