Hi guys! I'm finally posting the whole story- Maybe. I am still writing it so updates will be on Thursdays. Hope you enjoy! Comment and Vote plz

Madison's POV-
I walked down the street to the local coffee shop on the corner.

"Hi, Chelsea."
"The regular? A caramel macchiato?"
"Yup. Thanks."

As I waited for my drink, I noticed a guy sitting in the corner next to a window. I walked over and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled.

"Hey," he said.
"Hi," I said.
"Madison."

I walked over and grabbed my drink and gestured that I wanted to sit. He nodded. I pulled over a chair and sat across from him.

"Whatcha reading?"
"Oh. I'm working on a paper for English."
"Cool. What's it about?" I asked.
"The assignment was to write a story, a fictional one, so it's pretty easy.

Just by the little conversation, I could tell that he was trying to be cool. I'm guessing that he doesn't hang out with girls that often. I handed him my business card.

"If you ever need me to edit or publish anything, here's my information. I'm an intern at Desmond Publishing."
He took it, with a puzzled look and said, "Thanks."

I walked out of the coffee shop and back down the street to my apartment. Unlocking the door, I was welcomed by my dog, Hunter. In the next few minutes, the next thing I knew was that I was on the floor laughing, wrestling with my dog. I finally managed to throw Hunter off of me and return to a standing position. I grabbed the bag of dog kibble next to the door and poured some in his bowl. I opened the fridge and grabbed the egg carton and crack two in a bowl. I grabbed two pieces of bread, some meat, and ketchup. I sat down in the couch and ate my breakfast as I watched the news.

Blah, blah, blah... weather, it's gonna be raining... blah, blah. blah. So uninteresting.

Hunter waddled over to me with his leash in his mouth and his irresistible puppy eyes. I grabbed the leash from out of his mouth and shoved it in my pocket.

"We don't need this today, buddy."

I scratched the top of his head and grabbed my keys. We were going to see an old friend of mine. I met her when I was a freshman at USC. She was my roommate but moved out during the second semester.

The city was quiet, which was quite surprising considering that it was 9 am in Los Angeles. We continued walking until we came to an apartment complex on the corner of PCH and West Olympic Boulevard. I knocked on the door of apartment number #307 and was welcomed by the familiar smile I saw on my first day of USC.

"Madison!"
"Hi, Abby!"

Hunter, as usual, jumped on top of Abby. I shook my head. I pulled back on his leash, managing to pull him off of Abby. I stepped inside, closing the door behind me. I put Hunter in an extra crate that Abby had stored and walked to the kitchen.

"Mmm... it smells so good! What are you making?"
"My specialty, bulgogi stir fry with white rice. The classic."
"The classic. So what are you up to?"

I took a chair and sat at the bar counter. She pushed a bowl of the Korean bulgogi stir fry in front of me.

"Nothing much. I got a job at Studio 9 Interior Design."
"Ooo that sounds fun."
"Yeah. How about you?"
"Still at USC. Umm... intern at Desmond publishing as an editor. And yeah."
"Cool, cool. You got a boyfriend?"
"No, Abby. You know I'm not interested in guys. I never will be."
"Ugh... you're so boring," she said, giggling, "I'm kidding. Wanna go for a walk on the beach?"
"Sure! Sound great.Well, after I finish this wonderful meal."

After I ate and Abby put the food away, I grabbed Hunter from the crate and shut the front door of Abby's apartment.

Brian AKA Alex's POV-
I tried to continue to write my fictional story about my life. My life is honestly pretty boring so. I pulled out my phone and texted Madison.

Madison❤️

Me- Hey, it's Brian.
Madison❤️- Hi
Me- Where are you?
Madison❤️- Down at the beach. Why?
Me- Can I meet you at a coffee shop? I need ideas.
Madison❤️- Sure. Where?
Me- Wherever is fine. Just give me a place and time and I'll be there.
Madison❤️- Okay. Can we meet at the Grove? Meet me at the front in 30 minutes.
Me- Sure, okay.

I got in my car and drove to the Grove to meet Madison. That parking lot is always full. I drove around for about an hour then finally found a spot. I waited for Madison in front of the entrance. I spotted her with a dog.

"Madison!"
"Hi Brian. Umm... do you like dogs?"
"Yeah. I love them."
"Cool. This is Hunter. Just to let you know he might jump on you."

We found a coffee shop and some seating and started to talk. We talked about our lives, families, etc.. we talked for about an hour or two.

Sorry the first few chapters might be boring. It gets better... Thx for reading! Comment and Vote plz
