Madison's POV-
Alex grabbed my hand and pulled me to his car. The seat belts were automated.

Who is this guy?

I just sat quietly and patiently until we got to wherever he was taking us. He pushed multiple buttons and suddenly we were up in the air. I could feel myself starting to hyperventilate. I have anxiety in these types of situations.

"Alex? Where are we going?"
"Relax. We are going to my work."
"Okay?"

We landed on a helicopter pad. He stepped out then opened my door. I stepped out of the car/helicopter and stumbled backwards. Alex steadied me. I slowly melted into his arms, just like old times. He smelled like the outdoors

Nice choice, Alex. You know me well.

He lead me to a glass elevator and opened it with an ID card. We dropped several levels down at the speed of a bullet. He dragged me to a high tech modernized office and knocked on the door.

"What is it Agent Mann?" A voice said.
"I have who you requested," he replied.
"Send her in. Alone."

Okay, now I'm going to have a panic attack. I walked in reluctantly. He pointed to a chair and said 'sit'. It was like he was staring at me and drilling holes into my head.

"So why do you want me?"
"Get Alex."

Alex walked in with a concerned look. The supposed "head agent" walked Alex to a corner of the room. They whispered which is definitely freaking me out.

"Madison, we need to talk."

Brian AKA Alex's POV-
I felt so bad. I've lied to her so much. I pulled her over to a corner of the Head Agent's office.

"So... my work is a spy agency."
"Okay... and?"
"Our agency wants to recruit you as an agent."
"So what do I need to do?"
"Madison, you-- wait what?!"
"I said that I want to help."
"Oh. Well that was a lot easier than expected."
I turned to the Head Agent, Agent Michael, and spoke, "Agent Michael, She agreed."
"Come."

Michael walked with confidence. He has a nice build and slightly taller than me, standing at 6'2". He sent us down to Underground Level 2. Here is where recruits are tested and trained. This facility used to be an underground bunker but was remodeled to the government guidelines. I urged Madison on and stepped aside to where my trainees were.

Madison's POV-
I didn't want Alex to leave mostly because this Head Agent guy was frickin' intimidating. He has the type of presence that leaves goosebumps down your spine. He lead me to the middle of the facility.

"Since you have agreed to attend as a recruit, you will spend most of your time down here. This is where all agents start. Here trainers train students up to a specific level. Then they are considered an agent."

"This place is awesome."
"That is true. And you name, Miss?"
"Madison. Madison Lundquist, sir."
"Trainers, line up."

I watched as 4 different people assembled into an orderly line. Two male and two female; one was Alex. The other male was tall, has brown hair, and green eyes. The two females were very similar. They shared the same build, hair, and eye color. I assumed that they were sisters. The Head Agent explained that each trainee is placed with a different trainer and is placed in a category. The trainers names were Roman, Tasha, Sachi, and, of course, Alex. Roman trained for hand to hand combat, Tasha for technology and coding, Sachi for air rescue and air battles, and Alex for the overall areas. I was impressed. So far I didn't know what I wanted to do. Alex was the obvious choice, but the Head Agent probably would not allow that, for various reasons. My second choice is hand to hand combat.

"So do I get to choose the category or..."
"You will get the chance to participate in all of the categories for the first few days. Then you will choose your category, but you have to receive permission from me first."
"Okay, so when do we start?"
"Now. Choose an area to start with."
"Alex?"

He nodded his head and Alex stepped forward. They talked in hushed voices for a few minutes then turned to me. Alex spoke first.

"Madison, since you are in my group, Agent Michael had me agree to a few rules."
"That's okay. It seems reasonable."
"It does mean that you won't be able to see that often though because I am working with other students."

I frowned, my brows furrowed. The Head Agent took over. He explained that Alex will treat me as he would another student and that once in an official category, I will not be able to visit him unless supervised. This was exactly what I was afraid of. But I had to do it. I wanted to do this. I've wanted to do this type of thing ever since I was little kid.

"When do I start?"
"Tomorrow morning. 6 AM, sharp. Be ready."
"Yes, Sir... Excuse me? What do I do now?"
"Alex?"
"Yes, Sir. Students, go to your capsules."
"Their what?"
"They're bionic. In order for their chips to operate, they need to be inclosed in a capsule. Follow me and be quiet."

Alex lead me down a hallway and opened a set of glass doors. Inside was a chair and two small desks, one with a computer on top. I stood until instructed to sit in the chair and relax. I felt a pinch on my arm then saw pitch black.
