{Hey guys, this is my first time of writing a book. Please bear with me if it doesn't sound that convincing. Or interesting. It gets better as it goes, I promise.
Some of the chapters you will read are more narrative than descriptive which means it is told by the main character herself. I just figured that this was the best way to write the book. Do bear with me.

Hi! I'm Demetryst!
You see, I'm supposed to be an ordinary teenager like everyone else. The thing is, I'm considered different because I'm an orphan, a filthy rich orphan at that.
My parents died a few years ago from food poisoning whilst on a vacation in Paris, leaving me all their wealth. Off the record, that's a lot of money they left me.
Anyways, I've always been shy in school. I mean, the kind of student that doesn't know anyone, and no one pays attention to me as well.
So even when my parents died, no one offered their condolences, because no one knew what happened!
You see, I'm pathetic.
Truth is nobody in school or anywhere else knew about my inheritance, well, since I'm a nobody.
And so life moved on....
But then, out of the blue, my stepmother makes a very fascinating entrance back into my life, asking for her own share of my inheritance.
Let's just say she's not very friendly. I'll get back to her later.
At least now you know the background story.
