1. Don't Look Back.

He was determined to kill her.

He had that look in his eyes that said it all. She was so frightened.

Then she felt it.

A feeling she's come to dread for a long time.

Helplessness.

He menacingly advanced towards her, instinct told her to back up and she did. But he just wouldn't stop coming closer, and closer, and closer.

Don't look back, her common sense said.

Did she listen? No.

She looked back and then realized what he planned to do. She was backing away from him but towards the edge of what seemed like a very, VERY steep cliff.

Stupid, why did you look?

She pleaded, begged, coerced, cried, but nothing seemed to work.

I am in the middle of nowhere. No one is ever gonna find my body.

"Damian, please!" her voice came out as a squeak.

Wait. Was that my voice?

"I'll give you anything," she continued. "Just please, let me go."

He seemed to consider that for a moment before he continued to advance, more determined than ever.

"No." was all he said.

She didn't expect much anyway, she knew him as a man, –guy, whatever- of few words.

"But why are you doing this?" Hot tears streaked down her face.

"Goodbye Demetryst." He said. As he pushed her off the cliff....
