If I die tomorrow
Forget me not
Let me live within every thought
Let my name bring you to tears
My face bring forth the worst nightmares
If I die tomorrow
Remember the pain
Scream at the sky
"Why won't you rain?"
The cloudless day denies my death
The cold gravestone steals your breath
For if I die, you will forget
Time will erase your saddest regret
The love you saved
The sacrifices you made
For someone less
Less than money
Less than shelter
Less than someone far better
If I die tomorrow
And you forget
That's okay
It's for the best
Forget the memories that play on reset
Forget the warmth of my chest
If you leave me behind
To save your heart
To save your mind
And stop yourself from ripping apart
Then at least remember these last words
I won't die tomorrow
That's just a thought
For tomorrow can wait forever
Like it or not
