~Tom’s POV~

Before we went on Jayne sat me down for a talk and said she needed to explain some of the rumours going around. Like I hadn’t noticed. I was the one who went on twitter nearly every other moment, but I’d tried to ignore the worst part of them. I’d tweeted to the fans saying that all the photos and most of the rumours were true; Richie and I were going out. She’d gone about whether I could really trust her and stuff like that, I kinda glazed over it and said I loved her and that she loved me back. Jayne seemed weary, but she was just like a mother, so you know. I didn’t really take it to heart.

The crowd was metal, the fans as always the most amazing people on this planet and every time I danced backwards I could see Richie dancing around to her own beat, only restricted by the chord that amplified her guitar. I couldn’t help but chuckle.

The next few days through the next few towns usually started or ended with a fight or a frustrated Richie. She seemed really easily ticked off with Nathan’s depressing comments, I don’t blame her though, he did drag on… but I don’t know. It just seemed like she was so concerned with every word he said, like he… I don’t know.

One day when we were halfway through the tour, in Lincoln we had stopped at a park. Trees lined the area and she was halfway through climbing one of the old oaks in the park,

“Come on Tommy boy? You afraid of heights?” she joked holding out her hand. I took it and she half pulled me up with a loud grunt, “Oh dear lord,” she joked with a laugh as I finally got myself up. She climbed a little higher until she found a nook in the tree and we sat together on the tree with my arms around her. She flashed me a big smile before resting her head on my chest and looked over at Jay trying to play football with Nathan and Max. Siva was filming and their laughter came up through the trees.

“You know the guys are happier since you came,” I say and she chuckled.

“Yeah, whatever,” she said brushing off the attention. My heart picked up as she started to play with my fingers, I wonder if she can feel it on her back?

“Seriously,” I say and hug her tightly, “You don’t let them slack off. It’s been good for them,” I continued and could see her thinking hard. “You really care what Nathan thinks,” I state and she turned around to kiss my lips,

“Lets talk something pointless,” she said instead of a answering, she was facing me now.

“Why not about Nathan? He’s something pointless,” I joke and she laughed lightly. “Seriously,” I say.

“What’s your favourite song,” she asked touching my chest.

“You know it. Richie don’t avoid the question,” I say sternly and she pushed away from my chest and pouted.

“Did I ever tell you I thought about joining the circus,” she said and swung around the branch. My heart dropped and I reached out to grab her before she fell, but she’d already swung around and laughed as her legs held her up,  swinging upside down.

“Don’t do that!” I exclaim and she sat up.

“Let me guess, you’d miss me if I’d fallen.”

“Without question,” I reply and run my fingers through her long black hair. She smiled and her thumb rubbed along my cheekbones gently and trailed around my lips. She had warm hazel eyes that focused intently on the touch that made me feel like a teenager with a first crush.  She leant into my touch as I trailed shapes on her soft neck and her shoulders.
